1.) Are we looking to have a cooperative story adventure outside The Lute? i.e. in another thread?

2.) If so what would that look like to you guys?

3.) Re: Current situation with Talca, Finn, and TBN Halfling Rogue.

Finn has grave/ controversial news that he doesn't want to make general knowledge yet. He knows Talca so is willing to confide with him.

TBN Halfling is an unknown quantity.

Then the ensuing episode occurs; slurs exchanged and crockery busted.

I have more than just histrionics to throw around, but looking for an opening that allows for exposition.

What are your guys thoughts on where to take this?

Looking from hearing back from all concerned, including Celeste.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about how this will go; I'm just a TBN Halfling. . I'm just along for the ride, maybe. But I too am anxious to hear from those more knowledgeable about this than me.

This has been fun...

1) I'm not at all opposed to a collaborative tale outside of the Lute, at all.

2) As to what that would look like, it's hard to say in detail, but I imagine it would see Finn as the de facto leader (his quest, after all) and the rest of us supporting that mission... (Unless we play into what's already transpiring in the Lute itself... Finn ventures off on his own and "goes missing," leaving Talca to put a party together in order to find the man).

3.) Re: Current situation with Talca, Finn, and TBN Halfling Rogue.

Talca has grasped the situation with Finn, of course, and has a great deal of faith in the bedraggled druid's wisdom. If Finn thinks he's better off on his own (to start) Talca won't press the issue and insist on tagging along. Instead, he'd be inclined to do as Finn asked and hang out in the area of Lynnbrook/The Lute until Finn returns (or until it's become obvious he's gone missing and needs to be found).

As to the halfling, Talca finds her amusing but, as Finn said, she's a bit of an unknown, at this point. Amusement and trust aren't the same thing, after all... and we still don't even know her name!

Aaaaaaand, apologies for the lack of a post... Weekend ended up being busier than I thought and I didn't get a chance to write, at all. Will try and rectify that very soon. Have a meeting in about 1/2 an hour and, after that, I should be able to eke out some time to scribble out something.

1.) We are "The Lute" ATM,... I am loath to leave it - that said I suppose we could do both, just throw in different characters if Finn &/or Talca &/or TBN should vacate,...

2.) I would be happy to continue this story in another thread.

My druthers would be to have it like is in the "Lute".

Free form story based RP, post as we can (At least ounce a week),... With perhaps a DM (Hint, Hint,.. Celeste) establishing the setting and encounters.

3.) Nice Reply - will contribute a Finn Post as soon as I can, busy day today.

I know that Celeste wanted to write a post for Lynnbrooke's Healer, Runi - who Finn was consulting before this encounter started, but until then I might offer some exposition to Talca...

1) I'm rather loathe to leave the Lute, myself... it is a fun place to hang about and just play... If we do see Finn, Talca, and Li'l Miss Giggle-breeches depart, I'm sure I'd have no problem in bringing another character or two through the Lute to keep the place alive.

2) I like the idea of freeform, story-based RP for the continuing adventures of Finn and Friends outside of the Lute, myself... and having Celeste play "DM" (and perhaps a character of her own in our little troupe) sounds like a smashing idea, to me.

3) I'm also not opposed to playing out more of these three within the confines of the Lute... Hence Talca's in game suggestion that they not leave once Finn's done eating... no need to hurry our little group of into another thread right away, is there? We've got a ton of RP we could do before we set off... we don't even know Shorty's name, yet!

Anyhoo... there's my meandering thoughts... looking forward to whatever might come next.

Tom cat comment was in reference to the flirty Elf,... cause he's a boy,... and kind of a stray,...with pointy ears,... and pretty much always horny,... ish,... Well lets say easily infatuated.

I'm going with what you wrote Boo-Boo; but "Finn" is fairly certain that The Swiss-Army Halfling doesn't have a reason to be that butt-hurt.

Looking for ways to deescalate,... (or escalate) that brings positive resolution.

I like that description...
