Mr. Statue

A thought, but assuming Galardil has the spell handy, an Invisibility to Undead spell would secure T'Arms for a few rounds.

Though use of that spell seems rather 'metagame' if the party were not expecting to deal with undead creatures...

...Which is why I said Galadril; his posts suggest experience of handling undead, Danon's not so much.

Thus why, at least at the moment I'd like to think Danon simply has the spells I mentioned in an earlier QnA post, a typical kind of list which I gave before the zombie thing was confirmed. EDIT: going back and reading Olan's response to my spell list, it seems we may be able to just drop the spell no problem... still bothers me a bit though

By the way, the once per encounter turning use, followed the sudden sugre of undead is quite concerning; devious tactic indeed. Hopefully there is still a city to reach.

Quick final note, I could whip up a quick post and have it in around Saturday, but otherwise the tactics I outlined before still stand.

Cheers,

-T_O

yep

No need to feel "meta" about it. I have always hated the "you must prepare your spells ahead of time" rules. If your character studies/prays for spells every day, they can cast anything available to them.

I feel like the wizard who must commit feather fall to memory - just in case he falls, lest he risk death - and now cannot use that spell slot in battle is just a silly idea. Even worse with clerics, who are being basically granted miracles on demand.

"Sorry, Bob the cleric, you didn't ask for this miracle already. Too late to change your mind. Maybe you can flame blade your buddy's corpse so he doesn't rise as a ghoul... I just can't let you bless him."

Silly.

So if ya want to cast invisibility to undead (and it's on your list), have at it.

Galardil Spells

He is not casting any spells, but has 50 stones to use in his sling and will use his Khord War Club when necessary!

Poking the bare bear.

Mayhaps we have perplexed our Omnipotent DM with our defensive ring?

*pokepokepoke*

*waits for Jarenion to get horribly killed because he poked the bear*

I'm an instigator, I am! Hehehehehe!

Clarification

Galardil does not want to waste too many spells for combat or using the 'Invisible to Undead', in case he needs the majority of his allotment to bring health and healing to one or more members of the party!

Besides, he has fought alongside his allies and they have battled their way to victory against impossible odds before!

Apologies

Got very much tied up in my examinations; I've one final report left followed by a meeting at a governmental office regarding my thesis work.

Please have Danon continue as I had indicated in my previous post regarding combat; he will fall in to protect his comrade as per the rally and perform as described.

I intend to have a significant combat response (or death scene, depending on if things go south for the cleric) written up to make up for this lack of action on my part.

Until the weekend,

-T_O

Steadfast

Seeing how I am stuck with some kind of magical force, (NOT Fear) and some kind of attack left me with a wet tunic. I am still here and going nowhere. Let me also say that I hope the Evil Dark Overlord Work lightens up soon.

Ta’Arms, the Steadfast One.
