Dragonmist say's SORRY for my absent of recent my company has closed the lab where I work and we have all be transfered to a new location which we had to prepare my hours have been very long. As i belive we all know i am in the US Coast Guard as active duty witch means i am away from computers alot due to time at sea. Now, as of yet that hasent been a problem due to the ship i am on being in need of repairs. Well the ship just recently got its repairs and now we are looking at a 60+ day patrole into the barring sea, and yes that is were worlds deadliest catch is shot. So i will possibly be absent of awhile, assuming all the repairs are done. If i am away forgive me.

YeOlde, how far away is the closest sentry. if he is forty or less feet away, I can use mage hane to deliver a pepper ball in his face. and Magic Missle.

I fell a bit like Frodo in Lord of the Rings. Facing a challenge that is beyond my abilities but doing the best I can.

The closest is approx. 30~35 feet away from your current position. So well within range of most spells.

As for the challenge, you havent reached the worst part yet. This stuff is easy!

Going to give this a couple more days before I update... I think your group still needs to decide what action you are going to take... So please post to each other and try to figure out what you are going to do as at this point I have nothing to update really.

Went to prong out my character sheet to check on the spells and what do you know I had a bow and a quiver of arrows.

I remember seeing that item on your sheet when you created her, I thought it strange but here we are...

I sense a very expensive bow sale to our poor ranger.

I didnt really think about it, i built him to help the front lines. I am not good at the whole range killing so i specialized in the melee. My bad. So how bout that expensive bow sell.

Tell me if I am right in thinking that this ring is vertical in the air at right angles to the bridge, that it is spanning it from side to side and like a big ring bisenting the middle of the bridge seperateing one end from the other. likt the Startgate sort of just hangingthere in the air and growing outward.

Riddle... no problem.. just a joke.. Rangers usually carry bows. But it seems you have been loaned one from Sil for the moment. In the interest of moving the story forward I did have him use it and to good effect. See the main thread.


Brianna - You are correct in the first one.. think Stargate.. one of my favorite shows.. it is indeed vertical ring with the bridge intersecting it through the middle.
