It wouldn't let me access this site at all again in Internet Explorer. Firefox worked fine but I had to log out of chat again (twice) before I was able to log back in.

I deleted my inbox. Happy?

Try all you want, Grugg. It is impossible to delete your inbox. That baby is hard coded, and not set on a per user basis like your other folders.

Half of them I click and nothing happens... but sometimes they work? Am I missing something?

They are always links, but open in a named window. If you have that window open, it will replace what is there, Othertwise, it opens a new window/tab.

Hi Olan. Me again. This is completely inconsequential but...why is there a link on the staff page to go to the staff page? In case they want to...refresh the list a different way.

Hi I was wondering has anyone else been experiencing some freakiness with the site?

I typed in the web addy and got "can't find site" message for a really long time. Then it came up again.

Is this just me?

Site's been working for me. Might just be a local issue on your end.

Actually the site was down for me on Sunday too and was down most of this morning (European time) as well.

Site was down for Spiders and I from about 9pm EST to this morning toughly 9am est. (We're States-side ATM) And down Sunday, though I was comatose for most of that.

I advocate feeding of the Grugg to avoid any mindnight snacking on the mainframe.

We are suffering periodic Denial of Service (DOS) attacks against the site. These cause the site to overload and lock up from time to time.

I have instituted further measures, as well as some logging to help me not only stop it, but find out who is responsible so that I can block them completely from the site. In the meantime, I have armed the admins with the ability to restart everything in the event that the site locks up again.

If the site is down for more than a minute or two for you (which can sometimes happen due to network errors), please notify a site admin (myself, Bromern Sal, Alacrity) and we will restore access.

I suggest we have another of the "You are here" bars at hte bottom of each page of the forum.

IE.

That way we don't have to scroll back up to the top of a rather long thread page to return to the general forum. Just to save time, and shouldn't be too hard to do.

Also, if its possible a "Other Users Looking At This Too" thing might be neat. ie if me and Bobbers are both looking at the same thread a little bar up topic with "Users looking at such and such: Grugg, Bobbers" would be a nice little touch. Bring us together and such. Like a family.
