avatars 'n stuff

Greetz!

As some of us saw in Accalia's first choice of avatar/face mask, some of the ones available are just a little too big. Can they be deleted as usable images?

Also, I think Lord Death is really on to something with his ideas (previous page). I endorse them 100%!!

Chat room issues.

Not sure if it was my equipment or not but last night Pit
F(r)iend and I had problems getting booted off the chat. For me, it kept restating too and opening a new window. I'd X to close it and then it would open again. Took a bit to close them all and log off. Hope no one else is having problems.

That shouldn't happen at all anymore, and it never happened to two people at once.

What browser are you using, I'm going to see if I can get it.

Yes, about the Bootings

I use FireFox and after allowing pop-ups we still get booted from chat--repeatedly. Should I switch to Chrome??

Further Chat remarks

Chat does seem to behave itself when a room is created. We created a private room with the password being "password" one night and had no problems at all. Even no-password rooms behave. I guess it's just plain vanilla chat that gets ornery. Darn sunspots and auroras (I can only guess).

?

Last couple of times I've voted for the Inn, I can't get to Effie's Great Wyrm page like usual. Either the connection times out or I get a boiler-plate 404 message.

APP

I would like to suggest an iPhone app! The site loads well on regular safari but it would be nice to have a nifty app to use instead. Plus if you could add the chat room to the app it would be ever so much easier. The chat works on iPhone but the refresh interrupts typing. would be much more efficient if it was set up more like Facebook or yahoo chat apps.

Plus said app would draw more people, you would be surprised how many people search for D&D related apps in the app store. Specifically Die rollers. App could easily include the die roller, character generator, and other useful gaming tools.

And naturally from iPhone app you could also move on to android, blackberry, and other app stores. I could see it being particularly useful on iPad and nook. Where many people store there core rule books.

Also a perhaps overlooked but useful feature would be a spell checker function in the forums.

I have been reading a little of your campaign world. Very nice by the way!

Organizing the information into an app would make it easier to use said campaign in a table top game. I know a lot of people who don’t even use books anymore they have everything on their iPhones, iPads, nooks etc...

Just a thought. Have you considered submitting your world to Wizards?
