Long ago, there was a prophecy made that a group of young fighters would come together to save the world from a terrible evil. Now, that prohecy must be fulfilled. King Damian of the Underworld has declared war on all life and is attacking the people who inhabit his planet's surface. His army grows strogner by the day, and only the Prophisized ones can save them.
But all hope is lost.
As the group finally pulls together, they are destroyed by Damian's power and become the Five Deadly Ghouls. People have lost all hope and are giving themselves up when Ella appears.
She is a beacon of hope, a foreseer of Damian's doom. As she tells how he will fall, hope is once again gained and the morale of the survivors returns. Ella pulls together a small group of fighters to go against Damian.
But the quest will be hard, and frought with peril for a girl no one knows anything about. As they fight their way to Damian, Ella has to stand strong and become a leader she never thought to be.
But can the group of ragtag teens really overthrow the King of the Damned?

1. The Beginning
Mia opened the cottage's back door and stepped into the night. She was headed to check on the animals, as had been her duty for twelve years, ever since she turned four. The young teen hurried along, her path lit by the small latern she carried. If she stayed out too long, a ghost could snatch her away, leaving only the latern as a sign to what had happened.
Mia reached the barn and opened the doors.
The pungent smell of hay and animal droppings reached her nose. Her mare, Maddelina, looked up as she neared. Maddelina's solemn brown eyes watched as Mia stroked her tawny nose.
"Hello girl." She whispered and hugged the horse. Maddelina whinied a reply. Mia smiled and bustled about, checking that all the others were alright. She was preparing to leave when a noise startled her.
It was a clip-clop, the sound of horse hooves. But no one in their right mind would be riding at this time. As Mia listened, she heard multiple riders. Quickly, she doused her lamp and peered outside through a crack in the barn wall.
The horses stood on her family's land. Each rider was clad in a suit of silver armor that gleamed in the candlelight cast from the house. Mia recognizied them with a start: they were enemies soldiers of King Ralin's army.
She crouched lower and prayed they were just passing through, but it was for nought. The knights dismounted and Mia saw a torch in one of their hands.
They were going to burn her home.
She could only watch in horror as the place she had grown up in caught flame. She heard her parents screams, but could do nothing. Mia was so busy watching the cottage burn that she didn't hear the footsteps behind her until it was too late.
One of the knights brought the hilt of his sword down: everything went black.

I know how hard Parvo is. I've had a few dogs die from it. At least I do know it gets better: I got over my dog Blackie's death (Best dang mutt you ever saw) and over my cat Snowflake's death (I swear up and down she and I were sisters in a past life.) But thanks Bab, I appreciate it.

Hi! I'm back!
But right now I'm really sad. See, a little while ago, my mom almost hit this puppy with her car. It was crying so she brought it home. I fell in love and named my little girl Heidi (She called it as 'Heinz 57 Mutt', so that was my inspiration) We became really close (As did she and Noah). Well, I was still at school one day when she started having seizures. Caleb saw this and my mom rushed her to the vet. The vet said she had just eaten something, and would be fine. Well, Thursday my mom brought her back to the vet. Sometime in the night, my little girl died. I didn't get the news until today because I had a sleepover Friday and my parents wanted me happy. I hope you guys understand that I need some happiness right now, so I hope you can help. Even though I only knew Heidi for a little while, she had become my baby girl and this is really hard for me.

Aryan wasn't sure whether the scene in front of her was actually happening or if it was just the ale. None the less, she bolted up and nearly tripped over the table behind her.
She prepared to do anything to help when suddenly the world started tipping and she vaguely felt herself slide backwards. However, she did feel quite clearly when the edge of a table rammed into the back of her head and blacked out her vision.
