Through the slight haze in her mind, Aryan worried about the noise. Should she speak up? No, the others were bound to notice.
Her hand crept to the pouch where Kiar lay, fur puffed up. As she reached to stroke her familiar's head, the cat hissed and clawed her. Aryan jerked her hand and looked at the angry red scratches.
Kiar would never act so strangely if the noise were something simple, like someone trying to enter. Aryan was definatley worried now.
