Subject: Confident in the Allies
Shard looked at the small group before her. She had thought no one would bother, but these cats stood before her. She looked each over, taking special care on the one male.
The large, but still small cat named Rain. The panther Tear. The bright orange Fyet. Each was unique and different from the others, yet one force had drawn them her. And that one force was her, tiny Shard.
Shard nodded and leaned forward. "Thank you for joining me. As the elders have pointed out, it will not be easy. But just you trust in me is good enough. We will hunt and sleep and set out tommorow." She said and looked at Fyet. "If you wouldn't mind hunting with me, I have some things to discuss." She said to him and padded off into the undergrowth.

Eanna smiled a little. "Well, now I at least know where my poison is." She said and stood up. Eanna looked at the others. "I'm not blaming any of you if you won't to leave. But I'm staying with Caria all the way." She said. "So saying, I need to feed. And yes, on animals this time." She said and walked out.
(Note: This has nothing to do with the game, but my avatar is what I picture Eanna to look like.)

Shard sat patiently as the elders of the forest explained the daily notings. But suddenly they paused unevenly. Shard looked up and studied their expressions. Twigbreaker, the leade elder, cleared his throat. "Forest Home has been our domain since our ancestors first set paw on it's sacred grounds. But now man and dog threaten us. As much as it pains us to say... Forest Home is to be evactuated immediadletley." He said. Shard jumped up with the hisses and growls from others. "This is our place! No man shall take it from my paws!" She yelled. Others nodded in agreement and Plumpbelly grumbled in laughter. "You will let this kitten, barely past weening, lead you to death?" He laughed.
Her supporters quieted and Shard looked around. She looked at her clan members, her friends, her family, cats she knew only by whisker name. "None will stand with me? Are you all that weak?" She called. None rose and many looked away. "Young kit, you may stay. The rest of us will leave." Plumpbelly announced. Shard looked back at him. "Others will follow me! Whoever wishes to will meet me at Star High tonight by Whisper River!"
And so now her she was. Erka Shard. A small kitten who had just finished weening, going against the forces of man and dog. She hissed in frustration and kicked a pebble into the river.
Peraps it was hopeless... No. Shard would save Forest Home, whether or not anyone else showed up tonight. Shard looked at the stars. They glowed brightly, as if mocking her bravery. Shard sighed and turned to teh brush, waiting for any who would come.

Eanna didn't know what to think of her unfamiliar settings. She looked at Russett and suddenly remembered. Eanna hurled herself at him, kicking and punching, but gained control and sighed. "I'm sorry Russett. Forgive me. It's just... I'm alone now that she's gone." Eanna said and looked down.
But suddenly she smelled something familiar and looked up. Parsman and Caria stood there. Eanna was shocked and sat there, mouth open.

Aryan gripped her familiar tightly. There were enough undead before and with Syana hurt, they had even less a chace. Not to mention the now 8 additional zombies. She cursed under her breath.
She looked at the group members. Aryan looked at the escape route and wondered how good a chance they had to get away. Aryan shook the thought of retreat out of her mind.
Aryan looked again at her foes and sighed. She didn't want to cast another spell and she couldn't do much damage with the staff. Her and Kiar were stuck to be protected by the others.

Eanna pressed her hands onto Russet's shoulders and squirmed away. She hit the ground with a thud and cursed. She looked back up at him and at the house.
Tears filled Eanna's eyes at the thought of her best friend surrounded by those mad men. "Russett, I know I shouldn't ask any favors." She began and looked up at him. Eanna stood up and again faced him.
"That is my best friend in there. I gurantee we are even closer than you and Parsman. Please, we have to go back. I can fight! I promise... But I have to save her. She came for me and I'm taking her with me, even if it's on the path to hell." Eanna said.
She closed her eyes and waited for his answer. Whether or not Russet aproved, she was saving Caria.

"Huh?" Eanna says weakly and looks at Russett. It doesn't register until her stomach threatens to come up that they're moving. Eanna puts a hand over her mouth and the oter on her neck. Her vision starts to tilt and she fights to stay awake.

Subject: The Attack and Retreat
Aryan feels her heart stop for a second. Since she was close to the front of the group, the creatures are close to her. Aryan makes a sudden step backwards and stumbles behind everyone. As one without a weapon, she can do noting but cast spells. Meaning if one got close to her, she was dead.
Aryan took a few more steps from the group when she suddenly remembered Isaac. He had stayed on the road. Aryan wondered if she could reach him but decided not to chance it. "ISAAC! HELP!" She yelled, hoping he would hear.
Kiar made a sudden hiss. Aryan turned back to the attackers and sighed softly. She prepared to cast a spell. In an instant, Aryan made up her mind and cast Magic Missile. She smiled at her effort.

Aryan was impressed that Shianna, who had originally tried to stop the group from continuing, agreed as long as they stayed in the tress. It was a good strategy for one thing. And, Aryan thought, we're still going to the town.
Kiar mewed from her shoulder and Aryan put a hand on her familiar's arched back and scratched along her spine. The cat calmed a bit and Aryan wondered for the first time if maybe Shianna had been right. But now her curiosity about the town was fully aroused.
"Shianna has a point." Aryan said. "So does Neri. I say we go ahead, but in the trees." She concluded. Aryan turned towards the woods. Kiar made a hiss and Aryan looked at her. She wondered again if this was a good idea. But her opinions had been voiced. She walked towards the trees.
