Subject: Troubled Thoughts
Rose was headed back, having caught one of the poor mutts who roamed the street. Strangely, she had seemed full after a mouthful.
Rose walked with ehr head down, unsure of what was going on. Strange facts echoed through her head, screaming at her: 1.She was in love with a human. 2.She had killed for the first time in around 300 years. 3.She ahd been starving, and suddenly full. 4.Her brother was actually on her mind.
She shook her head and hurried back to HQ, opening Travis' room.
"Back!" Rose said, smiling widely and back to her happy mood. On teh way back, she had brushed out her hair and had a fresh rose pinned above her right ear.

Rose slumped against a wall, panting. A young human girl laid at her feet, completley drained of blood. Rose's mouth was covered, but ehr fangs were still fully extended and her left eye had changed to purple, the color it only did when she was completley starved.
Rose looked at the body. A memory suddenly hit her, hard:
"Don't kill Rosey. Just take alittle, and if needed, move to another." Rose looked up at her older brother with blood on her mouth. He gently pried the cat out of her hands and held it. "We aren't monsters Rosey."
She smiled at him and wiped her mouth. "Nope! Rosey is a good girl!" Her brother smiled. She hugged his leg and he ruffled her hair. Rose looked up at Karence.
Her brother was tall and had that odd sandy blonde hair, but blue eyes like her blue one. "C'mon Rosey." Rose giggled as he picked her up too. "Not monsters..." He started. "Just different." Rose finished the quote he always told her and smiled.
'So much happier... I was so much happier back then...' Rose thought grimly. 'And I ahd so much more control'. Again, she looked at the body. Rose growled and turned away. She went off to find her next prey.

Rose was worried and it was obvious to the others. Her hair was tangled and she was wearing the same bloody clothes she ahd on the run. She hadn't slept and her eyes were thirsty, signalling she needed to hunt.
But Rose refused to leave Travis. They had found him, god knows how, and Max had tried all she could to keep him alive. The wait was unbearable and everyone was tense.
Rose stared at Travis, fighting sleep in case he woke up. She started talking to distract herself. "You idiot, running off without sayin goodbye to me. You better be glad Max knew what she was doing. Please don't ever do that agin, I couldn't bear it. You know that. And I..." Rose paused, not sure if she should continue when the others could be listening.
