One part of the "shoot the jedi trick" I may have overlooked?

I'll just have to pull the shoot the security guard trick to get the prisoner back.

Went to go see Don't Mess With The Zohan last night. You should see it if you like Adam Sandler or just a nice funny movie but not if you're easily offended. A bit of a slow start but quickly becomes better.

3.6/5

Also: Going to see Hulk tonight!

HULK IS FAN-F***ING-TASTIC. 4.5/5

Fried. Wasted. Will be recycled.

Arcturius looked over the lobotomised cranium of the servitor. This was far beyond his ability to repair at this point. He would return to the upper decks and mark it for reuse. Its parts could be used to create a functional and more perfect creature.

Arcturius stepped back mechanically, his work done. The previous command had told him to continue his work, and his work was done. He would now return to his quarters awaiting his next assignment once the lockdown was disengaged.

He stood silently for a moment, his sensors picking up the sheer sparcity of his surroundings. There was no one here besides the disabled servitor. Not that this was a problem, other people did not understand Arcturius's single minded-devotion to perfection.

His pondering was interrupted however by a noise emanating from the corridor to his left. Some sort of low moaning, like a creature on its deathbed. He had no orders to investigate such activity however, so he remained still, his sensors checking the area continuously.

Another noise, this time to the right. A slow banging in the ceiling of the adjoining hallway. Something malfunctioning no doubt, he would have to fix it, he was afterall sent to this deck for repairs-, and thats what he'd do.

((OOC: Going to check out banging))

Things were not going well, not even in the slightest. There were too many pirates, and certainly not enough of their crew left to stage an effective counter-surge. Much to the surprise of Ja'are however, was the skill of those he had just previously beign cleaning with. The dwarf even appeared to be some sort of mage from the way flames sprung forth from his fingertips so readily! The others had proved just as competant, with a second plate from the halfing assisting his in dropping one of the pirates that had boarded their ship. Jon, his comrade from the crow's nest got to work as well, at it seemed as if they might almost stand a chance. But then, it one swift motion that thought died in his head.

Jon's luck ran out, and man got stabbed roughly by one of the pirates. Ja'ara blinked and shook his head incase he was seeing things. But when his eyes refocussed he found he was still starring at the corpse of Jon, lying still on the deck, his blood already staining the planks beneath him.

Ja'are didn't even think, he just acted. Trying his best to avoid pirates (tumbling to avoid attacks etc) he made his way toward Jon's body, hoping to get it out of the fray as fast as he could. It was against his training to act so rashly, but he didn't care. Things needed to be done, and he'd have to be the one to do them. Hopefully the others would be able to cover him as he did.

((Sui, don't kill me. I'm heroic.))

"Whatdya think yer doin'? Where do you have to be in such a hurry?"

Lysander froze in his tracks, suddenly aware of the blaster rifle pointed directed at his back. This was exactly the position he did not want to find himself in. Perhaps today wasn't such a good day at all. He should have just stayed home.

Lysander paused and licked his lips for a second before turning to face the security guard.

"I, er, assumed you were done with this here so I was going to be on my way..." He tried to read the guard's face, trying to see if he'd actually try to shoot him, but he could get nothing. That probably wasn't a good sign.

"...but I can see you clearly have more to do so I'll just...walk over here?" he said, gesturing toward the jedi. He moved slowly, walking off toward Si-Di looking about for a way out of this situation. His eyes locked on the hole threw which the arcona had escaped, but only for a second, trying not to alert ther others in the room to the plan forming in his mind.

He stepped slowly behind Si-Di, enough so one his right hand would be obscured behind the the jedi's robes. The jedi had no reason to distrust him right now, he didn't even know his real name, so hopefully he'd not do anything stupid. If he was going to make a run for it he'd need a distraction. Hopefully the jedi wouldn't mind providing some of that.

His hand drifted to the blaster at his side, and he leaned slightly closer to Si-Di.

"I'll catch up with you later. I just need to make myself scarce right now." he whispered.

Lysander moved his blaster to the back of the jedi, and in the same movement swung his arm out pointing behind the security team.

"THERE'S THE OTHER ONE!" he yelled at the best of his ability, and at the same time fired his stun into the back of the jedi. Hopefully the combined effect of the distracting scream and point and the gun going off would sow enough confusion for him to make a hasty exit from this situation.

Without thinking Lysander made a dive for the hole where the Arcona had escaped earlier.

Today was definately not a great day.

(OOC: Bluff check, look behind you. Bam shoot stun and RUN LIKE A SCARED LITTLE GIRL!)
