Subject: That reminds me
There was one point where I had laid out this masterful battle which undoubtably would be long and suitably epic, with harsh blows to each side. Unfortunately for me, my players must have bribed the dice with sacrifices.
Enemies: Something like 10 consecutive 1's, most on saves they need a 2+ to pass.
Players: 9 Criticals, 2 of which with vorpal weapons and one of which to do exactly enough damage to knock the villian unconcious right before he would have surely killed the player (if the dice snapped out of it that is.)
Freaked me out, I now own new dice.
