Art: Tiana Jackson (lolkat)

Olan's thoughts for this strip:
What's the best way to keep an eye on a suspicious NPC? Why, send him to the forefront of the hottest battle, of course! If he's honest, he'll help you out. If he's not, the monsters will kill him. It's a win-win, right?

I'm once again loving the spellcasting effects that Tiana draws. Also, the floor of the meditation room (panel 7) was totally her idea - and it's just perfect!

Aranion: “If you’re so friendly, you can help us explore this place.”
Barbarian #1: “No! Great cold spirit here!”
Barbarian #2: “Bad evil!”

Ray: “No dice. They come with us, so we know what they’re up to.”

Tim: “Agreed.”

Jhim: “Shall I summon my monster, friends?”
Barbarian #1: “No! We come!”
Barbarian #2: “We come!”

Ray: “Okay, let’s get axe guy up front. Club guy can stay back with the casters.”
Amy: “Dalana will keep an eye on him.”

Steve (narrator): “With a little prodding, the barbarians fall into place and accompany the party up the staircase to the second level.”

Dalana: “This… this is horrible.”
Ladan: “Such anger behind these attacks!”

Steve (narrator): “This time, no one has to get overly close â€" the twisted bodies lying on the floor somehow stand up and move to attack the party!”
