It Begins!

Alright, my first post is in. I hope others follow suit and we can really get this game going. I think it could be quite interesting. Good luck to us all I suppose.

Starting point

Do you have a starting point in mind for my character, or do I make one one that fits into my backstory and just wander onto the scene?

Either one is okay with me, I just don't want to post something and mess with any mastermind scheming you've got going.

Masterminding

I don't plan on Masterminding until we all met at the Thirsty Turtle(the inn)

Should have taken a left at Albuquerque

Sorry, I'd been looking for a Dragon Gems game, I didn't realize the title had been changed. I'm here now. I'll make a post soon

Before confusion can happen...

"Muscles" from my post is the Watcher's escort/bodyguard that he left downstairs and and any hulking physique or sour disposition I mention that doesn't match up with the reality of the character is entirely exaggeration on the part of Pyrrhus' imagination.

Noted

While the Guardian does not quite have the hulking physique your character seems to imagine, the sour/suspicious disposition is likely right on the mark. Though another player will be picking up the Guardian shortly so I will leave it to him to fully describe himself (more than I already have that is).

Plans..... meh

I was going to wait a little longer for my intro, but after you left him downstairs it was too perfect a setup for me. I'm not sure what the guy is going to look like, but until I get a description, I'm imagining Teal'c standing at the bar.

The guardian....

or Muscles as he has been refered too is no hulking behemoth. He is muscular but in a lean way. More like that of a gymnast or a runner. However his sour/suspicious demeanor is right on the mark. He opens up to only a few people (those usually women), is very protective, and doesn't play well with others. He is heavily armed and has more weapons than those you can see.

Overall he is not someone you want to meet in a dark alley, or really anywhere for that matter.

Hopefully, I will be getting the first post for him in this afternoon.

NPCs

Is Katerana an NPC? The intro made it sound like Faet was the younger of the two, so I'm kind of waiting for her to make the first move before I posted again. If she is an NPC I'll happily narrate trekking to the thirsty turtle, but if she's a PC I didn't want to step on any toes.

Small novel.

What started as an "I want to fool around with Prestidigitation" experiment got a little out of hand, I think. That was originally only going to be about half that length.

EH.

Maybe one of you guys will be inspired to post a random something for your character before the plot gnome shows up.

oh phooey!

so I would love to post more but seeing as the DM has left the game and the INN in general the game cannot continue on unless someone else has access to the plot line. I was really interested in this one too.

Howevever Deucalion I did like your post.

so agree...

First let me say to Deucalion, nice post. It worked well.

I am kind of disappointed. I was really looking forward to this game as well. However with Tus gone we have no direction. I guess I'm a bit more disappointed because the last few games I've tried to get in have flopped. I guess that's just the way it goes.
