One of the guys who works in the shop is an avid SCA light-fighter and another dabbled. I can't say as I've ever sold to a group, but I'd stake life and limb that hefty percentage of the customers play the game.
Now I have to add another one to the list... I'm not a time lord! I may have figured out the workings of a functioning time machine, but our tech isn't up to snuff for poering the thing, much less building the cooling system, which is absolutely critical, believe me.
Trust me, if I had a time machine, things would play out very differently.

Ummm...
I think you would only hurt your brain trying to cool this thing. Imagine trying to develop a cooling system which would allow you to handle an uncontrolled fusion reactor... That's not up to snuff. Like daVinci's flying machine, I think it's just too far for current technology levels to handle... possibly for any tech level to ever handle.
The theory, however, is sound. It WOULD work, if it wasn't completely impossible.
