You funny GI

As the crowd noise dyes down he continues in a softer game show host voice, ‘Now we have asked 100 creatures of the dark lord’s army and the top 5 answers are on the board lets see if ‘The Sword’ is one of them… SHOW ME THE SWORD!’…
The Top Five
#1: THE SWORD!!
#2: The Guardian Creatures
#3: 1 unknown as yet enemy
#4: 2 unknown as yet enemies
#5: The Pyramid itself

Also an applaud out to Ginafae for correctly guessing it was not the spell rebounding but the massive amount of evil in this area. She has not yet even posted in the game and already seems to know whats going on. I think she's clearly a keeper

Plus on that note what Conall used was not a spell but an ability granted to him as a Paladin it would not rebound.

Will post soon!

Still working on that post! I figure I should put some thought into it, seeing as it is my, if not Sirene's, intro post.

Cor's plan.

Thanks.

I've just read KoD/Cor's post which may be right. But I don't think we can risk Althena going off there alone without in some way being prepared for a fight. After all, why weren't the previous tests designed to allow Althena safe passage?

More protection............

Well if we want a Plan B, Ulthok can place a Non-detect Althena and then someone can cast Invisible or 10' radius Invisible on her so can walk up to past the creatures.

Well the Non-detect seems good anyway so here we go.

no spells

A spell of non detection would work against the plan. The sword needs to "know" the right person is taking it.

Remember DM said it could be the "easiest" fight. Perhaps that means we can avoid one. :-)

...

I'm not against the idea. But I think Sirene will cast a few spells before just in case things don't turn out well.

Plan on hold......

Well if Althena touches the sword it well know her, the spell just keeps her approach secret from the creatures. The sword would have such a high level it could see through the spell, but the guarding creatures are much lower and could be fooled.

But I'll hold off if we get more that feel it would harm more than help.

ok

Ok, if you all wish to cast protective type spells that should be good. Just nothing offensive that might trigger the creatures to attack.

The Spell............

Here's Non-Detect.

What'cha think?

By casting this spell, the wizard makes the creature or object touched undetectable by
divination spells such as clairaudience, clairvoyance, locate object, ESP, and detect
spells. It also prevents location by such magical items as crystal balls and ESP
medallions. It does not affect the know alignment spell or the ability of intelligent or
high-level beings to detect invisible creatures. If a divination is attempted, the
nondetection caster must roll a saving throw vs. spell. If this is successful, the divination
fails.

OK news item :)

Ok Takely and I have decided to replace him as Kenji and to bring him back in when feasable with a character of his own creation. As such I am already in the process of locating a new player for Kenji hopefully this week.
