Bridge Question: If I remember correctly, Worf, who was in security, stood behing the railing for the command section.

It seems my poor new Ensign has been assigned to a post on the bridge.

So is that her station, and do security officers wear a weapon while on the bridge?

This was also covered in the first couple of pages of this Q&A thread. The station that Worf manned is technically the primary tactical station - on the Discovery, it will be manned by MacTavish or one of his lackeys.

However, there are two secondary stations there on the "rim" (i.e. the rail you are referring to). Security mans one of these.

Well, folks, we did not hit the goal I had of being underway by the end of the week. However, we are pretty close.

You'll note that Alacrity jumped the timeline ahead quite a few hours with today's post. Feel free to fill in whatever you may have that needs to be done, but know that we're about to move forward.

I'll put up a post of my own dealing with Avanti coming aboard. We'll probably bump ahead then to the 12th, which is our scheduled departure date.
