I think we tried to do just what Cor had ordered but in the first round it kind of got taken away from us in the DM’s post. When the creatures crashed into us and attacked it kind of makes it hard or impossible to attack just one creature at a time. Maybe one or two of us can attack one but when we form a line like in the map we cant all reach the same creature.

As to quoting the military strategy book; all I said was that a plan is only good till the battle is joined, at that point we have to adjust to what is happening. A plan is based on what you think ‘might’ happen; once we are in combat we have adjust to what is actually happening.

What is going on now has no bearing on Cor’s leadership; I don’t have a problem with him leading, it is just he should realize that plans don’t always work. But we are a group of adventurers and not an army; if that means we don’t have a leader then so be it.

As to each person doing their own thing; we are discussing OOC here in the Q&A how we can adjust to the tactics of the creatures. Everyone should be involved; but only a few of us have said anything. If you think we should not do something but stick to the plan no matter what, then state that and your reasons; we will listen and maybe a reasonable discourse will win the day. But if you don’t want to lead anymore then we can only respect your decision.

Ok enough of that; I don’t want to argue any points just making observations as well and not trying to start up anything.

As to the summoning monster spell; I have a concern about that. These creatures are summoned so are they magical in nature? If so they might not be able to hurt these beasts. Just a thought.

I understand the not "ganging up" on one was not possible for those in the arc. However it was still possible for the others. One decided to join the wall rather than follow the plan and we ended up with a dead party member. Would it still have happened if the plan was followed? No idea but... Plans have to be given a chance to work, not just abandoned immediately.

Good thought about the summoning spell having issues if they are magical creatures. Theoretically the creatures are only summoned magically but would still be normal creatures. Can we get a DM ruling on that?

1st)Summoning = That depends on the Monster/Monsters summoned as about a third of the creatures that can be summoned on my list are they themselves magical in nature and it's a random roll as to what type shows up. Could be a wasted spell, could be useful all depends on the dice.

2nd) Party Leadership = Ok Keeper if you want to drop being party leader it's all good no one ever said you had to be in charge. However you stepped forward and told the party you wanted it after Alasdair went to hell and at that time the players all agreed to let you take over. However and I say this with complete seriousness if you do so it's a permanent drop back into the ranks as I won't have you flipping back and forth a third time. The first time this happened and you got replaced as party leader was my fault as I brought back Alasdair and turned you evil at almost the same time, for that my apologies. Also if your interest is fading call me and we can discuss the matter personally.

On that the SIDE NOTE) today I dropped Cdnflirt from the game due to inactivity and the fact she really does not have alot of time for the Inn as a whole with school, job, and studying for collage. Lets all wish her well and the character of Haila as with Alasdair and Cynil will not be replaced with a new player.

Haila was killed by a bug jumping over the wall if that's the character death you're referring to.

Either way, with the number of PCs dropping down, and with Keeper no longer wishing to do the gig, perhaps we can do without a formal leader? Posting OOC advice here in the Q/A should be enough to help people unsure of what to do.

Monster summoning: So we have to trust to the luck of the die on what monster shows up? Hmmm do we want to risk that since the die has not been our friend much lately.

Leadership: I agree that if Cor resigns as leader that we should just continue on without a leader as long as we can coordinate and discuss actions in the Q&A and then communicate between our characters In Character we should be alright.

Cdnflirt: Well I think we will miss Flirt and wish her well. Good luck in school, job, etc.

Well I had posted before he walked up the stairs that Kenji left his regular swords with his pack at the base of the stairs. When he fights he likes to be as mobile as possible.

Are you sure you arent asking for some nefarious purpose? Hmmm? Does the stairwell close up now and cut us off from our stuff? hmmmm?

I've played Ulthok as if he always has his stuff. I don't think he would leave his book of magic laying around where someone might sneak a peek into in.

On an adventure there would be very few times when he didn't have it on. As a Mage he needs access to his stuff.

His strength,dex and racial abilities make it easy for him to handle himself with that burden, he would also be very acustom to it so his actions would be instinctive when moving, dodging, rolling and such.

I would feel sleeping is the only time he doesn't have it on or if they where staying at an Inn.

I also feel it gives him back protection, besides his stuff is small and light.
