Sigh...

"What do you mean we need to clean up the holodeck -  again?  What were they doing in there anyway? ... were they naked again!?  Naked and fighting...!!"  Kennedy shakes her head and starts pulling up the work orders to assign a thorough cleaning of the holodeck.

Loved it guys!  Although I personally would have preferred the rapier.

Yeah... probably a wise move! ;)

Loving all the posts, folks!

Hoping to get a scene from flgith control going - clearing space in the shuttlebay for the beacon and suchlike...

Speaking of which - Olan, are we planning on tractoring the thing aboard or should I have the FC folks haul it in with the workbees?

I think that's a call for you guys.

Meri was leaning transporter, but i would think that would be a huge power drain.  I was thinking tractor or worked, depending on if you wanted to do a scene with a shuttle pilot or not.

LOL

I was originally thinking transporter... but I was also thinking that it might not work, something about gamma particles or some such interferring... so having a back up plan, or a other plan altogether would be good.  I hadn't considered power drain on transporting such a large object.

I don't mind going back and making an adjustment to the post...

Tractor or bees would both make sense.  Although as a player I'm still miffed that there are no real bees... I happen to have a big affection for those creatures and I misread Ferrero's thoughts and totally thought he was going to have bees on the ship and maybe big plans to make some mead, and no he was just talking about some stupid shuttlecraft things.

Ferrero can get bees... I don't think Drake would be very fond of that idea and I have a feeling Engineering won't appreciate beehives in the Jefferies tubes.

By way of my thoughts, the worker bees would be the best bet. Maybe with some Engineering personnel actually doing some spacewalking for those delicate tasks.

Upgrades?

Would there be any upgrades added to Peregrine that might come into play? In a collab with C2P and Zhay-la asked Reid if there were upgrades during the repairs.

I don't know about upgrades...

...I think Peregrine was simply scrubbed of any lingering nanites and restored to "factory condition," Ody. Aside from a few glitches that might need to be worked out, she's pretty much loaded out with what she had at the start of EoD.

I defer to Olan as to final say on this, of course, but that would be my educated guess.

Ol' Spot is spot on. There have been no new technologies introduced for us to use.

Thanks for the clarity, it's just a one liner in the collab but "curious minds want to know".

BTW we just survived our bi-monthly Roll20 game. Doing some old school Dungeon Crawl Classics : Lankhmar.
Still in level one but learning the game set. Have avoided the TPK so far, but it has come close.

Nav Beacon...

Okay, so my current thoughts are that I'm going to stick with my teams original plan concerning the transporter.  However, once we get closer to the beacon they will make some kind of discovery that will make it impossible/unwise to beam it aboard.

From a safety point of view keeping the crew on board the Peregrine to do repairs is the best bet imho.  So as long as it isn't too massively large to fit in a shuttle bay I'd like to then move to a plan B of tractor beaming it in.

If however, it is too large to fit in the shuttle bay, or something else gets in the way of pulling it aboard then we'll move to the bee's and space suit up (OOC:  The concept of doing a space walk is probably the most terrifying thing I have ever thought of, and my recent viewing of 'The Midnight Sky' has only reinforced that).  I think in general trying to stay onboard a ship is always the best bet...
