Yeah ok, so collaboration posts between Dana and Amris should be on the way, but yay! fate decided it's RL time! And it's not happening today or probably even tomorrow.

When I started working for the local university two years ago, I thought my hectic work days were over. 17 years of trying to make someone more money or to save someone else's money is over. My foray into the game business didn't exactly take off big either. Not that it surprised me. Our company is still alive and the guys are making a VR Hunting game, but I'm not very much involved anymore. So no more stress and it'll be happy life until retirement some day in the fourth millennium!! Yeah right.

You thought admins wouldn't be needed anymore? Yeah so did I. I was supposed to be obsolete in a few years time. Cloud services, automation and all that. The Great White Boss (TM) thought so too. We've lost five people (from 20 or so) within a year and a half. How many do you think have we been allowed to hire to replace them? Yeah you guessed it... <CENSORED>!!! 

If anything, the clouds; Azure, AWS, Google, Redhat, etc. are creating more work, not reducing it. They also need moar monies we don't have.
