I think the Bag of Holding we should just use as a party item, and for the storing of party loot.

So I started crying trying to get into character for Valene this morning. >.> I really have to stop playing such emotional characters.

I've done that myself on occasion too. So I do sympathise.

It helped that this morning was frustrating. The only way that could have been more therapeutic actually was if I got to have a full blown in character rant about something. XD

I was informed by a friend that women are more likely to be emotionally attached to fictional characters.

I know more about the geography of Audalis and the history of Trilogy than I do the geography and history of the US and I've been living here since birth. XD

I prefer fictional men to real ones too, but it's killer on my romantic life.

Potion of Dragon Sight (I couldn't find a decription but it still sound like a Mage item)

Wand of Frost (Charges Remaining: 87)

Oil of Fiery Burning (To replace what he used on Divot)

Haila’s Spellbook (he'll hold it while we have a chance to copy the spells)

3 diamonds (These may be useful in spells, as for the money, it can go into the holding to be shared at the end or when they return.)

If any heal potions are left, he'll take them too.

Ring of Protection +2 (he has the lowest hit points of the party) Ulthok's body suit is magical so the ring will not work

Ody, the only think that you and I have both requested is the Wand of Frost. I'm happy to give that up, as long as I can get the other stuff I requested (and the kitty!).

Regarding the spellbook, I did ask for it a while ago. But even if Sirene holds it rather than Ulthok, I am fully intending to share all spells as I've suggested a few times. According to the AD&D DMG, it can take days to scribe new spells into a spellbook, so it's a task we can only really attempt when we're in a town and have a couple of weeks rest.

Sirene is a higher level mage than ulthok and can cast 6th level spells. Ulthok relies on the stuff he has, potions, rings armor and wands to strengthen his attacks. So you would benefit from the spell book more now and Ulthok the wand. It was the Wand of Illumination that enabled him to defeat Divot.

Ulthok is "Professional" theif so the money isn't what he is in this to gain, but the stuff and gems are usable. He will take his share of the money loot in the end. He was contracted, more or less, by the King to aid the quest.

Ulthok would still take the ring of protection for the added aid to saving throws.

Fair enough, I don't have a problem with that.

I meant to say before, but Sirene can actually create Wands of various kinds (if given the right environment and time to work in), since she has the 'Enchant an Item' spell. She could always create something for Ulthok too if she gets the chance.

Divot was trying real hard to pull Ulthok into that secret room, so there must be something there. It may be trouble, but if we go prepared it might not be too dangerous.

I agree that rest and respelling is needed. Any ideas on what tpye of fun Tann has in store so we can pick spells to match?

More undead perhaps? Divot may have been trying to zombiefy Ulthok. I'm not sure though.
