I just hope we've not lost sight of what's really important through all of this.

Cheeseburgers.

The power of

Cheeseburgers!

An odor based superpower - the ability to create the smell of cheeseburgers and completely distract everyone! Just the idea seems to be enough!

Nice

Great Super power! But the taste of the cheeseburger is much greater than the smell. It was awesome.

Now, if we can just get that update. I have another cheeseburger, medium, and a big side of Onion rings to go with it.

No bread for me...

Which eliminates most of the burger and all of the onion rings.

I'll go with a nice steak though! Steaks are like burgers but without the cape. No capes.

Cheeseburgers

I guess I'll have to make it a Double Cheeseburger to entice an update.

Well Brom, you can have the onion rings, just without the breading and put them in that steak. Sounds Great!

Sorry guys!

Had to turn in my computer today and get a new, reimaged machine from work. Took all day to transfer data (including Prometheans) and get the old office hardware torn down and replaced.

Hoping for an update tomorrow morning! *crosses fingers and hopes that the data transfer went as expected*

Terribly, terribly sorry!

It's been a busy work week (new computers issued... always glitches and technical issues where that's concerned...) plus the new puppy is wearing me out... I've got the post almost finished but, after the way this week has gone, I kind of need a little break (maybe a margarita or two, as well). Will do my very best to have the update finished and posted (as well as Nomad's character finished and delivered) tomorrow.

bhj

Unless I missed something drastic, RL always takes priority. We'll be here, talking about cheeseburgers and imagining Hammer in a catsuit. Ready and waiting.

Grrrrrrr!!!

As a matter of fact, I have! I'm dealing with it right now, actually... But it's more a "physical" block than a "mental" one... Floodgates busting open at work + a new puppy with tummy troubles = Eol gets little time for the ol' writey-writey.

Look for a post from me this evening sometime despite all of that.

SilentOne...

Writer's block is only ever overcome by writing. I'm not talking about the ever present option of waiting for inspiration. I'm referring to actually beating writer's block into submission.

Write about anything. Describe the room you are in, your most recent meal, how annoying that freakin' fly is that's buzzing around your head. Anything. The very act of writing (no matter how good or bad the subject, grammar, or prose) is what breaks through the muck of the block.

And for the rest of you! I've returned from my anniversary weekend so... ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE!?
