Okay, I made a Drake post to bump the game forward and let everyone effectively know what's happening.

Alverstar, my post assumes that Ch'ronnoss is dismissed following the meeting, that Drake is alone with his thougths for a few.

My assumption here is that some will want to do reaction posts.  "Why is Drake calling an emergency staff meeting when I'm in the middle of sweet, sweet holodeck romance?"  Or whatever.

But if you folks would rather, I can absolutely make a post to start the meeting, let you sum it all up in one post.  I.e. Bob gets meeting notification, is annoying, Bob enters meeting and hears briefing, here is Bob's reaction.

I'm ready to go either way.  Had some potential for some collabs with Kennedy in the Aerie with her plant.  However if we want to just get to the meeting I'm good with that, we can backpost or do another collab some other time, there will be lots of opportunities.    

Basically I'm flexible with whatever.

I can work with either option. I kind of think Tochi, Zhay-la, and Kennedy (and her plant) are all going to be hanging together in the Aerie when the meeting notification comes through. If we three don't get that collab post done beforehand, we can always backpost it.

How about this - I shall hold my horses for a bit and give folks a chance to post.  If they don't, I'll bump it all up.

If I get too desperate, I'll make a post for an NPC.  Or let you guys see the Prophet at work.

C2P informs me that a Zhay-la post is almost ready to go up. That should lead into the Zai/Kennedy/Taissud interaction and, at the end of that, I imagine, those three will be heading for the meeting.

Also, a peek at the Prophet might be fun, if you're so inclined... and I always love to read NPC posts.

I'm going to give it till Monday to allow anyone who wishes to post the chance to do so.

That should give C2P plenty of time to wrap a Zhay-la post that plays into our planned collab and, following that, for Meri, C2P, and myself to get said collab wrapped and our respective characters bound for the meeting.

Took my sweet ole' time doing it, but hey, Zhay-la's post is up. Meri, Eol, I await our collab with impatience.

My youngest and her BF are visiting at the moment but I'll get a doc going for that collab soon.

Posting seems to have slowed way down.  I will post today to let you all meet the Prophet; if nothing else gets posted, I will post the staff meeting into no later than tomorrow.  Still could happen today.

...we were a bit slow in getting our collab started (differing schedules and such, you know) but it is in the works, anyway.

It's pretty much fluffy stuff, I suppose, so nothing you have to wait for, boss. It can always be backposted.

I mean, to be fair, Trek is basically mostly fluff, anyway.

I mean my character has done... *scrolls back through her posts* um... well... she's gone on a date, done some work on a side project and is currently taking a plant on a walk in the bar... 

But... my NPC's have been very important!   

Can't wait to get to this meeting!!  I've been holding onto Ken's response for a week now!  It's killing me!  And it might actually result in non-fluffiness!
