2. What has Lee determined with the communications system? If it is operational, can Charlie use that system as a backdoor to the main system, since they would normally be connected?

...that Brom's order to radio came under his "reasonable timeframe" option two posts ago... not once the situation became clear. Nevertheless, I have edited it in.

Note that my timestamp reflects this very instant, after everything is done. The radio check was probably around 0155 - 0200.

Olan, I realize I've just potentially slowed things down a bit, but I'm thinking that it doesn't make sense to have the fire team try anything without the Chief there to see what's going on, and right now, Monty is viewing the computer systems and security systems data a very important find.

I have no issue with the pace of the game. If you think we need to go slow, we go slow. you can have everyone sit tight until Charlie hacks her way in, no worries.

Let me note that there are no "data disks" - I apologize if I have miscommunicated. There are video disks containing what would roughly correlate to security camera video, but any data will be on the server (unless, perhaps, it is stored somewhere away from teh main base computers?).

Van in your new post you put in the convo between Kane and the Lt as though you heard my report, at least that is how I interpretated it.
If thats the way it was meant there is no way Blake knew what I said to the Lt as it was on his and mine's private channel. Nowhere in her post does it say she changed freq so she is still on the general unit channel.

you're right, I missed that you used a private channel. Not entirely sure why you would want to exclude the CWO on your status report... she IS on ypur side and your only tech.

Bromern also posted thst Kernan looked over at Blake as you were giving the report, which reinforced my impression that I could hear you. It also seemed that he was looking for input from me, so either I heard you, or the LT had to repeat what he heard to me.

I see no reason the whole squad shouldn't be keeping open comm.
