No the only Orcs & Goblins in any semblance of organization are the 6 huge Orcish looking creatures by the entrance door, and the Ballista crews near the saddled Red Dragon.
They look to be a cross between Bugbear and Orogs. If you want some idea of how they look just remember how the Orc’s of Saruman looked in the Two Towers movie then imagine them about 8 feet tall and full of muscle with dog noises. These are not your normal Orcs or Orogs.
I'm thinking that corner by the stairs too. Once we all assemble it may be time for a spell to make us look like Orcs. Maybe one of us could a Change self to look like a Black Robe Mage to lead the party past the big Orcs. Bluff first fight second. Who has high Ch to convince the Orcs we are sent to check on the Dragon Queen and to get out of the way?
Is it possible to disguise ourselves before we enter the portal? Otherwise, we will still have to fight our way in.
If we do have to fight after we teleport, I believe we should take the basic orcs and goblins. I personally think it would be the easiest combat to at least gain a foothold.
Yeah, if we could use the veil and then teleport up there together, that would work well. Say as some of those big orcs with a Black Robe leading them.
If we attack the regular Orc's that will alert the Big one and make it even tougher to get inside to find the Queen.
Veil the group first, Teleport next and appear as if we are supposed to be there. That would be an expected way for the Black Robe to appear.
Weaver has 16 Cha and Polymorph Self so he could be the black robe. Ulthok can cast confusion on the Big Orcs to help us get by as Weaver Commands them out of the way. The rest perpare attackes. If we start to battle we have to get through the doors a quickly as possible and try to block it behind us.
Sounds good to me, but let's make sure the spell will function after we teleport. I'm wondering if teleporting would disrupt the spells area of effect. If not sounds like a good enough plan to me. Siréne has quite a few spells to make chaos ensue with those orcs.
