Eep...
... the posts are coming gang, I promise.
Still scrambling time and inspiration about (and am admittedly finding it easier to write for other games, ATM, than I am this one) but, as I'm taking an extended weekend as of this evening, (no work until next Tuesday!!! WOOOOOOOOOT-aaahhh!), I should be able to focus on the 'creativity' and get us off to a nice Warp Factor 6 with a quickness.

I have to admit...
I had the intention of posting last night, but after posting to Cerebral Paradox I decided to watch a movie instead. I will try to get a post in before I leave for Vegas Friday.

my excuse?
It was Tim Burton's fault. I was caught up in Sweeney Todd (again)
I know, it's sick that I have seen this movie 21 tiles already, but it's like visual crack.

Engineering
If there's any Engineering stuff that needs to be posted for the Cerberus, I'll be glad to do it. Just not sure what to post at the moment, as Cameron is sorta stuck in limbo at Mac's Ready Room door, guess that meeting needs to occur before I jump off to something else...

Not necessarily.
Look at the logs. You can post ahead all you like. The beauty (and occasionally, the problem) with free form is that you're breathing life into your sections, inciting interaction amongst other players, creating your own issues, etc.

Eol...
YeOlde! We've found the culprit that is holding up the briefing.
Eol is Lt. Cmdr. Jones! Hurry up and post!
And then post in ASoD when you're done with that...

Posted for Cerberus.
Ok, so I've posted for Cerberus: Stan and Lt. Hash. I also updated the logbook with all Cerberus entries up to date. Please, everyone, remember to update the logbook when you post. It is really very easy, and it helps out so much with the posting.
I'm waiting on posts from senior staff for the Charon to continue the briefing, but that doesn't mean I won't post ahead to keep the Charon up to date with the Cerberus.

Launch time
OK, just checking on something here. In Eol's post it's 0410 and Mac's telling Weatherly about there being less than 2 hours to launch, so I was assuming launch time was 0600, but Bromern's posts are at 0830, 0900, etc., and still allude to launch not happening yet. So are we assuming there was a launch delay or something?
Not being nitpicky, I promise, just curious, as this is my first freeform game: I don't want to mess anyone up when I do my post, which was probably gonna center around launch procedures and countdowns and such, stuff happening right up to launch moment, so wanted to be straight on the times.
Can I get a word from on high?

mistake in timing.
My mistake. Go with Eol's time. This is why the logbook helps.

Engineering Ready For Launch!
OK, have posted Duncan's activities right up to launch moment. Started it right after ready room meeting with Mac, so Eol, feel free to still post that meeting; I kinda want to see how he and Mac interact anyway-hehe.
I just have to say, for a long time now I've been wanting to dust off the ol' thought processes and get to doing some writing again. This game has really helped me with that and gotten the creative juices flowing again, so I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for having me.
Have a good day, all!

Welcome aboard!
Duncan74... mighty fine posts there Duncan.. glad to have you with us... I have to say your prelaunch routine reminded me of the Old Apollo missions... Makes me wonder if the Cerebeus is powered by Warp engines or Saturn V rockets?
Still.. a damn fine post! Welcome aboard!

Awww shucks
Thanks for the kudos, YeOlde. Yeah, the Apollo routine is kind of what I was going for. For some reason that was always the most exciting part of the prelaunch procedures for me; had an uncle who was an engineer on every single Apollo mission. My most prized possesion is the framed matte he gave me mounted with authentic mission patches for every Apollo mission.
Anyway, thanks again, and I'll see everyone at the launch!

Log question
Got a quick question: how do I edit existing log entries I've made? I noticed afterward that I misspelled a word or two and apparently I messed up the time.
And I AM referring to the logbook, not the game thread-hehe.
