Well we should think a bit about our next move. My post already has us going into the joining room after we eat. I think we will be fighting a room by room battle now and meeting some really tough creatures. Unified attacks may work to take out the worst items first and then mop up. Creative ideas could turn the tide so please give us ideas so we can support and assist.

In the mean time may you all have a safe and sane New Years Eve. A large frosted mug of "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh" to you all.

First 8 Mind Flayers and now to two front attack.
More Psions, unknown humanoids with magic swords and Ogre Orcs.

Well never a dull moment.

first thought i had would be to freeze the door behind us, yes it bars escape but if we used ice wall it would give us some leeway time on the orcs allowing us to deal with the Ithlids & new monsters. but down side is we'd have to watch how we used fire magics.

i still have shadow magic, ice wall, ice storm, lightning bolt,summon elemental.

i was thinking either ice wall or lightning an see how many i could get with one hit... would all the metal in the room detract from the lightning spell??

The mind flayers are hanging back, could that mean they are controlling the attacking creatures? Maybe if we bop them first the other might stop. A well place fire ball or lightening bolt on them might do it. The Illithids can plane shift away if they are losing or hurt.

We don't know what those glowing swords might do. But if the Orc/Ogar rush in through the door after the Flayers leave they might attack the other group.

We stand back and let them bop each other and then run out the door.
