Haha yeah, me neither. I was on pins and needles for months!

Now that's a twist!

I think I got whiplash!

Gotta adjust my post, now, but no worries.

Entirely possible...

...just been a while and, possibly, the idea that this might be a drill escaped me once I'd caught up.

Anyhoo, I'm going to assume that Silas would have at least clued his XO in regarding this drill?

I had him acting on his own here, to be honest.  Tal suggesting the drills, he took a look at the roster and figured to throw Garner into the deep end - start at the potential weakest point of the chain, go fromt here.

Noted.

Being out of the loop on the drill will probably work better for the post I've got going, anyway.

This is the kind of thing that can kill goodwill towards captains (hard ass, etc).  I anticipate at least some of that.

There you have it...

...one lengthy and perhaps surreal post from Ol' Spot. Make of it what you will.

Man, yes.  I needed some good Trek postage!

Nice job, loved the read.

Glad you liked it...

...do note, though, that Tochi did not materialize on the bridge in the tiara and ballgown I threatened previously.

Also; some notes:

1) Breebles - obviously, this post means that Melody is aware of Tochi's recent sleeplessness. Feel free to approach that (or not) as you see fit

2) Crowe - I get the feeling that this whole scenario sets up some neat RP opportunities for Garner and the rest of the Flight Control Department. Utilize any of the NPCs there to get that ball rolling, or, if you like, get in touch with me and I'll happily play out a collab alongside you, if you like... this may even lead into some progress being made on the completion of the Aurora Angel to some extent... at least as far as getting it rigged for use as a simulator or some such.

3) Brom - after that dream and given the fact that Tochi and Asovil haven't spent very much time together lately, I'd expect an invitation to breakfast following the end of Gamma. Run with that as you will.

Sad about the ballgown

Thanks! I'll read through when I have a moment and might reach out to you when I have a chance to start writing.
