Howdy again. How we lookin' on launch?

Still struggling to get it wrapped up, honestly... I have no idea why but I've just had a major problem with getting myself back into the "Trek frame of mind" since my return. I've started writing posts, scrapped them because (in my mind, anyway) they were crap and 'not worth posting'... re-written, scrapped again, still unsatisfied... and the cycle just keeps repeating... Getting back into Mac's head, too, has given me fits in general and (though I never thought I'd say it) I just can't seem to write for him the way I used to (and want to)...

Wish I had a better explanation/excuse for you all but, I guess, it just comes down to the old 'nav computer' failing to keep me on course. No one to blame for the delays but me, folks... Sorry.

No worries, Eol, the muse strikes when she will. I'm not goin' anywhere, don't think anyone else is either...just post when you feel up to it.

P.S. Try watching one of the movies or an episode of something; always helps me when I'm not in the proper Trek frame of mind-hehe.

I do resurch and re-read the prev. posts. I'm not going any where as well, but my post keeps getting longer the more I re-work it.

...out the last two seasons of DS9 as I pass the video place on my way home this evening... (just called to make sure they had them available)... Hoping that'll get me back in the groove.

Hey, Eol, wanted to let you know about a fan-made film I found on the Net, has several movie and tv show cast members in it, if you haven't already seen it. It's called Star Trek: Of Gods and Men; Google it for details on how to view. It's divided into 3 half-hour segments, and it's surprisingly good to have been made on such a low budget. Worth a watch!

Thanks for the heads up, remingled the two similar paragraphs into the third and final draft. Here's hoping that it will help Eol finish his post. Maybe if we all did not wait for him, but gave him something to post to, it would make it easier as sort of co-DM's. This is Free-Form and we don't always have to wait for Eol to come up with everything.

True, very true; for my part, I have posted about as much as a CEO can possibly post up to launch; I felt that posting beyond would step on Eol's toes; the honor of dramatizing the launch is his. Once the ship is underway I'll probably be postin' mah little tail off-hehe.

I sure we can come up with some way to make the launch-----exciting.

I can completely understand being swamped. I spent the last week and a half feeling it myself. I'll talk with Eol and see if there isn't something I can do to move us onward while he pulls things together.

can't wait for the lauch, my post is now 2 and 3/4 pages of a word document long. My longest yet all spell checked ect.
