Heard from Tann and sounds like the flu bug we had two months ago made it to Texas. Combo flu and sinus, ugh. So we are in a holding pattern until he's up and at'um again.

Might be a good time for idea sharing on the battle.

Battle thoughts:

With the lich wrapped up in a mind, what would be the impact of it getting hit with attacks? For example, a few arrows? Would that disrupt its abilities in the mental game? It couldn't defend against it surely. Perhaps the oil and fire can do something.

Lothor has two throwing axes (And a rabbits foot that could guarantee hits) I keep wanting to chuck at the lich to disrupt its spells, but he hasn't had a moment free from the armor. And if he is able to skewer another suit the typical job of the warrior would be to fend off the ogre-orc group. Or finish off the armor that is limiting spell casting.

Launch an axe or such and see what happens.

I would think the best if not the only way to hit the lich is when she is distracted. But don't forget the new guys coming through the door. If there were multiple attacks on her it might be even better. But don't neglect any of these foes.

She's in my head right now, so I'd say her attention is focused away from you. Hit her now while you can. Also, can we keep Sirene safe for now, please, pretty please with a cherry :-)

Remember area effect spell heal the White Suits.

It probably isn't worth the risk, but does the armor have to be in the area of effect to duck up magic? All of the armor is now near us, not the queen.

Lothor needs to deal with the armor he is on top of first. Afterward he could target the queen with well thrown axes. Perhaps those with bows could hit her now? Can The halfling target Her in some way?

Ulthok is using the door as a shield between him and the Queen and the Advisor. He hasn't seen what they are doing, his view is of the party and the thing coming through the front door. I have thought of the attack on the Queen but was trying to get the new comers by sending the shadows after them.

Maybe we need to recap what each of the party is currently doing. Lothor, Roan, Weaver,or and Rayne have chances too. Alyia is working her fire elemental.

Been off my game last few weeks but I'm determined to post Sunday. If you still need to post anything else after these 3 last weeks of inactivity on my part do it by Sunday.

Did you decide that the oil at the queens feet didn't matter?

FYI to everyone - normally the fighter would charge the big bad beasties up front - like the butcher. But with no one directly in front of him he is likely to turn and throw two axes at the queen - using his lucky rabbits foot to guarantee hits. If that isn't the best plan let me know.

Xin tossed a bottle of oil of fiery burning at the queens feet two turns ago. I think that was why a fire elemental was summoned.

Anything to break a queens concentration.

Yup, fiery burning was thrown at queen to summon fire elemental and hopefully damage her. Now that she is febleminded it might be bad news for her.
