heh

As cool as it would be to try, plugging your speeder to the main engines to boost the power would require you to get your speeder to the main engineroom. With the corridors on the ship, I'd say the chances to get there are slim. To make things worse, it would still take you an hour or more to do all the linking, reprogram the computers so they would make use of the outside source and lots more technical stuff. Worse still is that you'd probably have to turn the engine off while plugging your speeder to the main engine, unless you want to fry your speeder with the power from the starship.

In case you did not notice, I'm trying to make you see that this is pretty much futile. I want you to think it is futile so that I won't feel bad about starting the game with the Mandolorians already boarding the ship.
Think about planning your masterful escape after I have told you what kind of situation you're in. I would hate if you have already planned out the whole thing and then find out a crucial element is missing.

OK

I'll sit tight, and sorry for being a pesky player.

Game

The game will start shortly now that I have all the characters. I will either do the starting post tonight or tomorrow. Enjoy until then.

Ships

Can I be on the Dr.'s ship, that way there will be a reason for the ships to be together if Kate is still on the other ship?

Well

By the Dr. I assume you mean Admiral's Noble.

As far as I know, he hasn't asked to be anywhere else so I assume he is on the same ship you are. So unless he asks otherwise specifically, you might end up alone in someone else's starship. I just assumed his ship was either elsewhere or in the capital starship's hangar (it is big).

Ships

I was kinda assuming that he'd be on the ship but if not then I'll just take a computer check to hack the systems and get the ship started.

I hope he gets in contact with you soon.

PS: Can my speeder be with me still?

Ships and stuff

Ships and speeders are all in the hangar (assuming they can fit in there). That is my assumption anyway. If that is not the case, you have to let me know.

Just to give you the heads up, you do not start in the hangar. I'm not going to ruin anything for you or trying to ruin the game for you, but what is the point in having you be in a ship that is being attacked if the very first thing you do is escape? Seriously?

Also, if you want access to Admiral's ship, you need his permission first.

Wow

I finally get to my AO and have a steady internet access and what do I get, a game where I can have some interest but close out. . Let me know if a slot opens up and I might just follow along. A jedi, guardian mainly with a prestige class of knight. Also, there is a kotor era sourcebook out there if that would be handy

Yeah, sorry about that

I know about the KotOR sourcebook. I have it. I use it. I enjoy it. It is a good book

Oh

For those of you who have not yet noticed, I posted in the game thread this morning. It's a bit of a rush, I know, but I'd like this game to have a quick start.

Yeah...

I figured business were to blame for the lack of posting in the game this weekend, seeing as there was a lot of interest in this game.

I'll wait a day or two before doing anything myself, but I'll update on Wednesday.
