I've been thinking this over.  I see that the big needs right now are Tactical officer and Science officer.  Both of those are pretty interesting to me.  So how 'bout I wait to see if you can recruit a player for either, and I'll just take the other role?  I feel like both of them could be fun.

So apparently I'm in the game! Somehow Olan did it again and said some beautiful words that I could not deny. Some of the things said were Merideth... Eol... Brom... And there's Ody too?!?!? \o/

Somehow or another, I appear to be persuasive sometimes, managing flowery words... even though everybody knows I'm a jerk in real life.

You know, if we can land just ONE MORE player, we will have a full crew.  It's Trek, we can always add in junior officers or enlisteds, but just one more will give us actual players in every lead role!

I'm killing of NPCs, myself, Meri... and, possibly holding out a little hope that we might get some warm bodies to fill a slot or two. If not, I'll simply replace them with new characters.

He's being clever, Meri. If someone dares to claim (again) that Olan kills a LOT of people in his games (again), he can simply point a finger at us instead. "Uh-uh, wasn't me. It was all Raven." 

Yeah, I'm supposed to flatline some fine people too.

I don't enjoy these deaths!  I'm just wanting us to have a compelling story.

I haven't actually deleted anyone from the roster, yet, but I have flagged several of them as being deceased or inactive (on convalescent leave)... aaaaaand I gave Megan her ensign's pip and made her the acting aCFCO. I'll leave the (Deceased)* entries up for a short while on the off chance that we get a player that might want to slip into one of those "junior" roles as a PC. If there are no takers, I'll scrub the roster and write in replacements before we leave spacedock.
