heh

A) I imagine you will be spectacular.

B) Eol and I are massive nerds who will be happy to help on any possible technical details.

C) If you refer to the items at the beginning of the Q&A (the schedules, the resource links, etc) you will almost certainly be fine.

I am in kindergartener level Trek--but these nerds Olan and Rob convinced me to take up medical. The vast majority of my PM history is just them kindly and patiently responding to question after question after question of mine about what is what.

You'll be great! And Tal is such an interesting character. I'm sure she and Reine will have some more to talk about later on

there ya go, folks...

You wanted a game post, you got a game post!

I'll give everyone a brief chance to respond, then I'll bump things to the staff meeting.

Boom!

All-stop to Wapr 9, just like that!

Can't wait to see Rer's take on Tal!

Giving some consideration to a Tochi post, now... will try to have something ready by tomorrow morning at latest.

Update...

Breebles and I are going to do a little "backpost" collab in order to get back into Tochi and Melody's heads. Following that, I'll get a response going for Olan's last and, then, it's staff meeting time.

Just double checking

I always find myself not really recalling the extent of what the holodeck can do. I presume what I have is okay, but I couldn't remember how tactile the things it could make were

It also occurs to me that Lt. Tal's exercise room would take up very, very little CPU and memory due to being mostly inanimate objects

yep

What you have is prefectly okay.  Considering that objects on the holodeck can be interacted with - many TNG episodes have them picking up various items and whatnot (including various weaponsand such) - there has to be a tactile element allowed there.

You're good

The holodeck can absolutely create a fully functional exercise room as you described. I won't go full nerd and write up how they work, here, but, if you're interested, you can check out the Memory Alpha article.

I have a feeling Tochi and Asovil might have missed a lunch or dinner, too. Might need a catch-up in that arena, as well.

I seem to remember something along those lines being mentioned in a QA post a loooooong time ago.

I've posted! I'm looking forward to full crew involvement. FYI - Giddy is currently wrapped up in RL submarine making so if you need something from his character, I volunteer to NPC him.

Ooh

I am really liking Asovil, and you've really made the entire science department feel alive.

Makes me want to take notes in the event I were to cover science in a future game
