PO Cook reporting

Hi everyone! I'm thinking of returning to the inn now that I am able and have some free time, that is if I would be welcome?  I hear PO Cook is available it seems. ????

welcome back!

Welcome back.

Also , I have a piece of news to share - I believe that I have MagickMan65 talked into picking up the role of Commander Thorson.  Yay for a near full strength crew!

Fantastic!

I'd hate to replace the CEO at this point, tbh, and the thoughts of Eric continuing makes my Trill heart soooooo happy!

Collab with Dr Reine and Tochi nearing completion, I think, and a post forthcoming for Capt Drake's latest is in the pipe. Ready to rock once I get a grip on all my NPCs.

agreed

Eric will likely "feel" a little different, I'm sure, with someone new pulling the strings... but MagickMan is quality, and I don't know that Duncan will ever be able to rejoin (his words).  It's silly to keep flipping that switch.

I need to get a handle on my NPCs, too.  I had some things cooking before my latest flake-o-rama.

I'm good with that...

...a different "feel" is better than having to spontaneously swap out a character wholesale, imo.

Here's hoping the "friendship" between Tochi and Eric remains as, I have a feeling, the Angel is very close to being ready to fly and I'd hate for Throson to miss that, Plus, his "arm issues" play a little bit into the goings on, here, if I'm not mistaken.

Can you get whiplash from swapping energies out for different characters?
Planning another Reine post in response to the captain's announcement and to get back into the doc's brain--possibly a collab with Altaira (^_________^) to reaquaint the Cook and Reine dynamic.

A Beverly Crusher marathon may be in order.

FYI there is a local Seattle band called Beverly Crusher. They're not really my cuppa, and I haven't heard any of their songs ever referencing BC or Trek (to be fair I've only heard like, 3) but . . . they exist.
THE MORE YOU KNOW.

I'll try...

...and get a "today" post up for Tochi, as well.

Feeling a bit puny this afternoon, though, and may not get to it before I go lay down for a bit.

I hope you get feeling better soon, Rob.

I've updated the Logbook. Went back a few days too and attempted to get every entry in place.

Just noting that Alpha starts at 0700, the day of the week is Monday. I believe that this means the following people should be on the Bridge when Silas receives his message:

  • Command: Silas
  • Helm: Tochi
  • Tactical: Ensign Blackmon
  • Operations: Lt. Moriden
  • Engineering: Thorson
  • Science Con 1: Asovil

I even mistakenly put Asovil in the Science Lab at this time. So, I'm rewriting some of my post to reflect this as Asovil would not be away from her post.

Thanks. Think I caught a stomach bug or something. Feeling like death warmed over and calling Earl Buick frequently from the big porcelain phone... Hopefully it passes soon.

Getting back in the groove

Well thank you all for the welcome back! I'm just trying to figure out where we are so I can try to get something together for Chief Cook.  Please forgive me if I'm a little slow in getting back into the groove, It's been a long haul to get back to where I couldn't even be online again. I suffered major injuries in car accident, and it's been an uphill struggle, but I think I'm ready to give this a try again.  I'll try to do the best I can.

it looks like the best place to start would be a collaboration with the good doctor. So Breebles I'll be in touch with you soon.
