Just posted Lothor so that he can get in the fight. He isn't charging in with his sword as he normally would. I'm betting on a blink back to Ulthok. (Look out little guy!) And at the very least he can teleport all over. So Lothor is going to use his two hand axes of throwing which should allow him to follow the thing around - especially if he guesses right on where he might move.

This thing has Blink abilities that it can control. It is sort of like the Gith things that move between plans at will.

So check all the clues, it is very quick, it can move between plans at will, it's bite and claws are not hampered by our armor. It can be hurt, but we don't know how much damage it can take. It took a direct freeze but kept moving.

The melee has had some effect, we really need to keep hurting it before it can kill us.

So back to the monster book..what the heck are we fighting?

The spell to send it back to its own plane had no effect - from Tann's wording I got the impression it simply wasn't vulnerable to the spell, but it might have made a save.

It does seem to be fire connected - and really didn't like the cone of cold. Did it run from it? Or just go after the others? Do we have other cold spells?

Could it be a demon? Devil? From the plane of fire?

Well the cold at least gave the thing pain. The blades have opened it up. It must have a bushel full of HP.

Wow Ulthok took 24 damage. Yikes!

Tann, I noticed you had not update Ulthok's and Peri's spell lists from our last rest. I will be working with Ulthok and Peri's lists as I have in Q&A a page or so back.

I will be going on vacation for a week but I am taking my laptop along and can post by Sunday night.

Ody I went over your spells and those that you posted and those that you wanted changed match. I don't see any difference.

I know you moved us along and this is most likely a mute point but, did the creature return to the tapestry? Cor would have looked.

Aliya would also have looked seeing as she was right in front of the tapestry.
