When the creature first attacked you for some reason its magic did not activate. As Cor was thinking back on it he realized NONE of his armor did what the pieces were meant to do almost as if everything he was wearing was non-magical in nature.

Again Keeper I thought I had answered this and I'm sorry I did not.

Just as I release Peri into the care of another player now Valene returns.

As for Valene - I'm still lost. Ulthok will need to try and confirm that it really is her, however that happened.

Also, if this thing somehow shuts off the magic of items around it, that is really weird. The spells maintained their power. Just not items?

Also, a question for the DM - did the eye/gems demonstrate the same power? Ulthok was not able to crush them, but did he feel as if his magically augmented strength wasn't there? I would assume a little guy would notice whether he had small guy strength or massive giant strength. Did the gems shut off his strength?

To the group - if the gems do shut off the power of his gauntlets, that might be a reason why he couldn't crush them. If so, it might be time for a disintegrate spell since spells do affect the beast. But if we do so, we need to be ready if threatening the stones "summomns" the thing.

Strangely no everyone's magical stuff and armor seemed fine except for Cor and Sirene.

Only Cor and Sirene?

Was anyone else hit? Ulthok was, - is he wearing any armor that would have provided a noticeable effect?

I can post it in game also but does Cor's cloak and armor still seem effected?

Everything seems to be working just fine.

Ulthok has +2 under armor that didn't do much good. That is why he was bleeding from the bite that tossed he across the room and took 25 points damage.

Magic Armor did not stop this creature.

Ulthok has +2 underoos? Can Peri see them? Oh wait, she can ask Valene, I'm sure she has seen them.
