I guess if there is a player for Valene we can at least reasonably assume that it really is Valene. Interesting. Not much to do until we hear from her.

Nomad, Lothor had a crush on Valene when they were prisoner of the mountain giants so I'd guess he is glad to see her too.

I think this will be interesting having Valene back again and seeing how Astrid plays her. Just as it will be interesting to watch Peri's character grow under Boo Boo's care.

to the group - I strongly think we should do as Lothor suggest and try to destroy the gems. Ulthok suggested disintegrate earlier. Actually, Ody did. So Lothor wouldn't know that or know the spell options. But he wants them gone. Then where do we go? Should we try back to the front door? We haven't gone back there yet.

Also - Tann- I asked a question in the game post I'm curious about. We know the beast didn't go back into the tapestry, but what shape is the tapestry in? Tatters from its ripping exit? Or just blank where it was, but otherwise whole?

There is a thing about Ulthok, he REALLY likes gems. He likes gems better than gold. For him to pay for something using one of his gems is a real effort. So with the danger seeming to be over for the moment it will be very difficult to get him to destroy them now.

Just saying.

Was Aliya around the last time Valene was? I mean, does Aliya know who she is?

Alyia knows Valene. I believe Alyia joined while we were in the City just before we went to the flying castle. So they fought together a little in the Castle before Valene was captured.joined back on page 191.

Well since Valene is saying we need move along quickly can we get a couple pieces of information.

1. How much healing did Sirene and Ulthok get, they both took a good bit of hurt. If we are walking intp more danger we need to be at the best we can be.

2. We need a little more from Valene is character about how she got here and why we need to move quickly.

I chose to have Rayne heal Ulthok with 3 uses of cure light wounds (2 from her bow and 1 from her 1st level spells) for 24 hp. I figured that Sirene and Cor had enough spells for themselves, and to save Rayne's limited number in case of a disaster.

As for Valene, we were aware of her in the floating castle (as we found traces of her in the prison if I recall correctly), so that gives us something of reference at least for when she tells her story.

Well, we need to DO something. Just posting hello to Valene just requires another post from her - and we really already have all of that information in the Q&A section. What would Tann do with those posts? Yes, she should say why we need to hurry, but that still leaves us doing nothing. What should we do in a hurry?

Where do we go? Down which hallway?

Also - the gems. Lothor gave a long speech about destroying them, but nobody responded to it. I know Valene's appearance is the big surprise, but this does need a decision. Ulthok said he "really likes gems." Lothor "really likes not leaving massive threats out there to pop in and attack him at any moment." He would very strongly push Ulthok on this issue. He'd even offer to buy him some gems when we get back, wherever we get back to. But he wouldn't drop this issue. But he would respect the group - if the group actually made their wishes known.

Just as Ulthok let Lothor destroy the skull because it is his nature, Ulthok will keep the gems as it is his nature. They are magic and will have a purpose sometime. But if it become apparent and they draw a danger again then he will act.

As for moving forward, that was part of the reason question of healing. Did the party need time to rest and heal. So far we have staged our moves and acted too rashly. I'd guess Tann and Astrid have worked a little to set the scene and there is still some information not said. Got to ask. Ulthok will do that.

As Nomad said above nothing for me to really post on other then your bk in the many doored rm. I've up graded hit points and such on all but Cor.

Keeper are you healing up? your at 51 hit points as the +20 from the ring are gone.

Cor will quiety cast cure critical on himself. Unless you want, I will not post just that in game.

Is Ulthok really at 1 HP? If so Cor will cast a pair of cure serious on him.

No that's supposed to read here's at 64 of 65 hp's He is 1 short of being at full hp.


Also added the 27 hp's from the cure crit to Cor's sheet so your up to 78 of 84 hp's.
