Well in the story Tann introduced Valene on page 164. So that is where her history starts.

As Rogues Ulthok and Valene sort of gravitated toward each other and bit of a mutual fun time started. Sort of friends with benefits thing. As time pasted they grew close. One of the players decided to cool the relationship, that was around page 184. So now it is in an odd place depending how you want to play Valene.

I'm open to how you feel you want to develop Valene as yours.

I thought that the warm area around Sirene would help melt the ice and then we can check out and heal the dude.

Yes, let's go melt frozen dude/dudette. He/she may have some answers, if he is just preserved and we can wake him up.

Ok, so I know almost nothing about these amulets, but Tann did say something about it "returning to the plane of its alignment" I think. They are alignment based? Can we tell what alignment this one is? Is it obvious? Do we have a "know alignment" spell?

I wouldn't be overly worried about a growing wall of ice - it can be removed. I would be worried about the floor under us flash freezing to our feet if something happens. Although at that point we would probably already be dead.

Do not give the GM ideas on ways to kill us.

Tann - I'm not even worried about your taking that idea. As I said, if the floor flash freezes under us it means something very bad has happened to our air. I don't think Lothor's corpse will notice what his feet are frozen to.

Your talking to a DM that has 6 volumes of traps, has a butt load of my own built traps and is excited about finding a way to flash freeze the floor without killing the party.
