Well there did seem to be some things worthwhile in the search.

Maybe Eol can clear it with Tann to identify some of items, his character may have seen them used. That would save some time not needed to meditate to discover what they are.

Too bad the book was ruined but the stones are interesting.

Any ideas what to do about the clock?

...if Talca spent any time adventuring with Scandrick, at all, surely he has some notion as to what at least a bit of that gear does.... Tann?

As to the clock... does it seem to be "stopped" at a specific "time"? Is it more sundial than mechanical style clock? Are there places among the carvings that seem to be depressions that might very well seat a collection of small stones?

Yeah Eol I'll send you what you know about the items from seeing them in use. However you don't know the actual ID of each as Scandrick never told you.

As for the "clock" your not sure, it could very well be some type of summoning circle or a way to decipher magic etc.... Also no there are no stone shaped holes matching the ones found in the chest.

Still waiting on that item info... juuuuust sayin'.

Aren't we looking for a magic source to use to travel in time? So, uhm, a clock?? Just sayin'.

And if it does relate to time that does open up possibilities for why a new/old type of beholder might be around.

The last two weeks have been very stressful at work and I haven't been very inspired and very brain fried. I will try very hard to get a post up.

So you know the gist of it Ulthok will gather the things from the Wizard and display them on the table. He'll ask Talca if he can tell what they do. Those not guessed at will go into the bag of holding. Ulthok will claim the wand. The other may be claimed. The stones will go into the bag too. The only ring Ulthok would want now is one that gives him more spells.

Does someone have a way to read the runes on the clock?

Got the set up for Prometheans done and the game in motion, so that's out of the way. Now, I just need to go do this fireworks thing with my family and, when i get home, I can jump back into posting for everything else to which I owe posts.
