OK my fair lady I see you are now carrying 3 staves, how exactly are you carrying them? They are all normal size which is about up to your shoulders and weigh between 10-15pds. The staff of striking itself weighs at least 25pds since it is meant for attacking.

Just curious as your starting to get easier to hit weighted down as such.

would happily bear the burden for Lady Sirene. Pretty sure there's more than enough room in his Efficient Quiver for a staff or two.

Ok, so what do we do now? It seems logical that this clock thing would be the machine that could take us Back to the Future. I don't think it even requires a Delorean or lightning to accomplish. But that doesn't mean I have any idea how to make use of it. Does anybody else?

Also, I have the feeling we were told to find a "source of magical power strong enough to travel in time" not just a time machine. Am I remembering wrong? And wasn't Allanon supposed to meet us here? He isn't here. Does anyone have any ideas how to use the clock, even without a picture?

Do we just keep moving deeper in to the tower? Looking for clues on how to run this thing? Waiting for the mage to show up? What exactly are we trying to do if not find exactly what we just found?

Trying to get a mental image of how the three rings are aligned, actually... Do the numbers on the two stationary rings line up with each other, at all, for instance? A picture would certainly help but, in absence of one, I'm trying to wing it and make it make sense in my poor little elf brain.

Ok I may not be able to post this Sunday depending on Mom's health situation. Its a good bet I will, but just in case I can't I'm just letting you all know now.

Right now Mom is once again in the hospital due to a urinary tract infection and a shadow in one of her lung tubes, most likely a clot, that is non-life threating. Not sure when she will be released but she is doing ok as of this afternoon.

Now, on a game related note - the second disc seems to match up, incrementally, to "seconds in a minute," the outer disc, however doesn't appear to quite match up to "minutes in an hour" (4 and 8 are in the wrong spots). That said, I'm not entirely sure if this is time related at all. Also to be considered is the fact that only the inner disc moves (the outer two can't be adjusted to pair up different numbers).... So, what is the possible significance of the numbers as they're "paired" on the discs???

Just thinking out loud, folks, feel free to brainstorm with me!
