Is that Science officer spot is still open, I wouldn't mind being a more senior officer. Let me know and I'll give up Cook and start on working up a Science officer.

You know what, I'm fine with Chief Cook so I'll just stick with her.
I know her and I'm looking forward to some RP back and forth with the new CMO.
Once I know more about what happened to the crew, and where the survivors are located, I'll have a better idea of how I'll start.

If things don't work out John could always take a field promotion to CTO....just saying we stand ready, willing and able.
After all he has out lasted the last three CTOs and he was SFMCA trained.
