Things are going to the next level which is sort of like a clean slate. Everyone is at lvl 2 at various degrees (Kaelyn is at 2800 xp .. so watch out guys)

Just making sure, but each point is worth BOTH 100xp and 1pp?
Or, is it so that for each point you can get either 100xp OR 1pp?

i got confused by it but you get the gold and the Exp

You get both 100 xp and 1 pp per point you earned in the last round. If you are just joining us you get 10 points to start with.

Also .. I forgot the bonus for the winning teams
1st Place gets Bonus Minor Wondrous Items Worth 1000 gold or less. Yes .. you could get 4 items worth 250 or 1 worth 1000

When you level, you should dump all equipment and rebuy using 1000 gold plus any bonus gold. This way if you used up items they can be restocked. Its like you make a brand new character at lvl 2 using 1000 + gold but you keep the same character. I realize this seems to give some advantage to characters that use expendable items .. but the same rule applies to everyone .. so buy them .. dogs, flasks, scrolls, spells etc.

You can pay a patron at the arena to cast a spell on you for the battle using your cash as well. This costs the normal amount of hiring someone to do such a thing in the PHB and the DMG. This can only apply to spells that have a minute / level or hour/ level length. No round per level spells this way.

The rule for rebuild is a character who has been DEAD or a character who has been unconscious on 2 battles .. so if you were unc the first battle and become unc the next you can rebuild for phase 3
