So let me get this straight:

I'm new to this and I'm getting thrown into the deep end by facing the strongest enemies yet? Wow, talk about learn fast or die lol.

Yup, you are joing a very long running game.  Characters at our level do not face easy stuff.  Demons, demi-gods, ancient dragons and other such are what we face.  Lesser stuff we leave for the cleaning ladies. 

 

 

 

Trilogy is ending?? I surely hope that this goes on for more then a few more pages lol I didn't bring my Ranger out of retirement for a short stint in this game lol

So the stuff is going to get worse?

To review - the last thing we "faced" was a dragon demi-god that was about the size of an air-craft carrier and would eat normal ancient dragons for lunch.  

Oh, and he was being held prisoner by a bunch of clown-like beholders - so we only had to face a dozen or so of those.  

But now it starts to get tough . . .

So wait, if my character's HP drops to 0, I'm out of the roleplay?

Well, sort of.  Death is death and you would be death.  But there is healing.  And there are ways to come back from the dead.  Notice how Ulthok keeps talking about resurecting Peri, a little Faerie Dragon.  So is death is death.  Sort of.  

And don't worry about it.  It is a game.  You will enjoy the roll-play and the game.  Everyone will work together to defeat the bad guys and lothor will want your character to survive because it will also help him survive.  And the world.  So enjoy the roll-play and save the world.  

Think of 0 HP as passed out.  You are ok just not able to act.  You die when you hit -10.  But, with this group you simply wait a bit and someone brings you back.  We have plenty of healers in the group.  Death is a temporary setback not an end.

 

 

That's good to hear! It's just going to be funny (and a bit ironic) that one of the healers (namely my Arandur) may need healing so much himself! XD

I was wondering how some of you had literally lasted years with the same character. They must be on such a ridiculously high level now.

You think I'd let Rayden's big brother die? Pfft.. lol

I'll be starting to write up a game update sometimes this week and will post it once finished to signal the restart. Right now with Ayrn and Chessic out I'm only waiting on Grumpy Old Bear's character and to see how far my Cowboys go in the playoffs  

I will most likely not restart the game till after thier season is over.

Hey, Tann, Keeper of Dragons and I are wanting to do a little practice of Trilogy Wars before the game actually starts. Just me and Keeper of Dragons (or anybody else who wants to join). It's mostly for my benefit because I'm a noob lol! XD
