what about Bob?

Merideth - we will have to have an encounter with Callie and Bob sometime as well. Biker babe and surfer dude loose in the engine room.

By the way - What would Callie prefer to be called Commanderdude? Commanderdudette? Remember - if he ain't calling you dude, he ain't respect you.

Duuuudddde....

Oh yes... almost forgot Bob! How could I forget Bob. He's hilarious.

I imagine those two actually get along great. Kennedy-dude is probably what she agreed he could call her.

He'll be present at the Mark VI breifing no doubt...

*grin*

Thought you'd enjoy that.

Will probably drive that vulcan insane... both Bob and Callie calling the computer Sheila.

Ohh...

BTW... Callie's appearance. I visualize kind of a Demi Moore look, with the short hair like right after GI Jane. Pretty but a bit on the angular side.

Sheesh...

I accidentally click a link in my window's bookmark toolbar when I meant to go to a different tab, and there goes my post...

I'm sad now

Ugh, I'll type it up again later... a bit too annoyed to restart it right now -.-

I used to hate it when that happened...

In fact, that's precisely the reason why i started composing posts in Word (or whatever) and then copy/paste into the forums.

Again, not that that helps you, Rer, but.... *hug*

Inconsistency

Well, after talking with Eol a bit about one of my npcs... I should edit my logbook entry so that Ruea isn't at the bridge (since she's now a PO2 rather than an Ensign)...

Should, but well, I can't edit the entry, and it's a pretty minor detail, so shouldn't be too big of an issue

And now I'm off to restart my post... *opens textedit*

yep

When you edit the character, their name and rank automagically update on the logbook.

Ohhh...

How technologically savvy we are!

Isn't Meri fun when she's in a good mood? lol

*pokes Ion* I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for that breifing! Expecting lots of explosions and graphics and surround sound! Academy Awarding winning performance!

*pokes DB* I'm nearly on the floor waiting for Rowdy's response... wondering if he'll fall over from shock due to the fact that he is left unmaimed by our favorite little state... then our new vulcan dr. man will have to dig him out of the pile of clothing in his room, curse about the smoke and drag his American clad rear end to the re'organized' sick bay!

In the words of my personal hero:

"I like this ship! You know, It's exciting!"

Trekkie Questions

Who, on the Starbase, would reassign an ensign, fresh from the Acadeny, to the Discovery when her newly assigned ship left early on an emergency and she had not yet arrived at the station to report aboard?

Locations

Okay, how much access, as ship's coucellor, would i have to the *complete* personnel files? Assuming that, being responible for the emotional welfare of people, I'd need to know about things that make them tick, even if it's supposed to be not public info?

Also...where's my office?

Answers some more...

DM - Assuming your newly-pipped ensign missed the ship due to it leaving ahead of schedule and not because she was 'lolligaggin aboot' the folks responsible for your reassignment would likely be Starfleet Command or Tactical Command.

GiGi - Your level of access to personnel files would likely be pretty far reaching (possibly even exceeding the level specified by rank) although I'd imagine any "classified" entries would still be "off limits" without justification and/or the Captain's approval. Your office would likely be on Deck 6 (Deanna Troi's was on Deck 6 right across from the transporter room)... again, though, since starships are "modular" and "configurable" your office could be almost anywhere you'd like it to be.
