I probably should have made my point clearer earlier: Before I gave you the extra Power Points for the work you put into your characters I gave you a last chance to make any changes to your characters.

The Power Points I gave you afterwards were not supposed to mean you could make any changes to the characters you've already made, but to add to them. So I am going to have to ask you nicely here: Do not rearrange the points of your characters to make him different (no matter how small the change). The PPs are a reward for the work you've finished, not some work half-way done. I will not approve of any changes, so don't send me new character-sheets; just ask me to add this or that(TM) and I will look into it.

Also, a fair warning, you are looking here at a GM that has actually never run a game of M&M since that one time during 2nd edition. What the heck do I know about the rules anyway? They're more like guidelines anyway

..... Exactly what you Consider to be 'Changing' a Character and 'Adding To' a Character ???

So with the 3 Power Points what I think is 'Adding To' a Character:

2 Power Points added to the Leaping Power of Zilver Wreker to increase or add to his Leaping Rank from Rank 5 to Rank 7 so he can leap 900 feet instead of 250 feet.

Not Quite Clear if our GM considers this Adding To a Rank or Changing a Rank ???

As for Father Brian O'Brien the 3rd Power Point would be added to Increase his Sidekick Rank from a 6 to a 7 (Again, is this considered Adding To or Changing ???)

Then I would Add To his Skills with the 5 Power Points that an Increase in Rank would provide as follows:

His 4 Skills that are currently a Rank 2 would be increased by Adding To his current Skills [which does Change him, so again Not Quite Clear ]

Vehicle Rank from 2 to Rank 4 = 1 Power Point
Treatment Rank from 2 to Rank 4 = 1 Power Point
Expertise (Military) from 2 to Rank 5 = 1.5 Power Points
Close Combat (Swords) from 2 to Rank 5 = 1.5 Power Points

So Skari-dono, if these additions to my Sidekick are considered Changes instead of Adding To him, then I will just reserve the 3rd Power Point until Zilver Wreker attains another Power Point increase within the game.

Likewise, if you consider the first 2 Power Points to Add To his Leaping Power a Change, then I will reserve those 2 Power Points until such time as he receives a Power Point increase within the game.

Do you have a problem with Color Quotations or Thoughts ???

As you can see from my Game Post, neither Conversation nor Thoughts were included, other than the explanation as to why Zilver Wreker nodded his approval to agree to take the assignment to locate the missing professor!

Increasing a trait is fine, as long as you keep it within the Power Level limit. However, rearranging your traits beyond the Power Points I awarded you counts as changing. If adding is changing, I probably wouldn't have said that you could add and not change. I did not name anyone specifically, so if you believe you have not made any changes and only added to your character, you're probably fine. If you don't have to provide a new character-sheet, you're probably fine.

As for posting conversations, I have no specific preference. As long as you can differentiate between speech, thought and anything else, I'm fine with it. You can use colours however you like, as long as it can be read. If I can read it and understand it, great.

I will personally be using bold to indicate spoken words, just so it is easier to spot.

So we all know each other from the beginning? We should write up that story sometime.

If I understand the rules correctly, I would ask that the 2 powers you gave me go as:

1p - to gain Accurate Attack advantage
1p - To Parry Defense to bring it up to 5.

I am verifying the spending of the 3 Power Points as follows:

The first 2 Power Points are being added to the Leaping Power of Zilver Wreker to increase his Leaping Rank from Rank 5 to Rank 7 so he can leap 900 feet instead of 250 feet.

The 3rd Power Point is being added to the Sidekick Father Brian O'Brien which Increases his Sidekick Rank from a 6 to a 7 [giving him an Additional 5 Power Points]

This Increase in Power Points is being used for Increasing Existing Skills as follows:

Vehicle Rank from 2 to Rank 4 = 1 Power Point
Treatment Rank from 2 to Rank 4 = 1 Power Point
Expertise (Military) from 2 to Rank 5 = 1.5 Power Points
Close Combat (Swords) from 2 to Rank 5 = 1.5 Power Points

If today stays quiet work-wise, I should have a post before long.

Telepathy: Selective, Area Mental Communication 2 [1 mile radius] linked with Cumulative Mind Reading 7 with Subtle 2 extras (costs: 35 power points)

* Alt Effect – Mental Blast 8: Perception range Damage 8, Alternative Resistance (Will), Subtle 2 (costs 1 pp)
* Alt Effect – Sleep 8: Perception range, Cumulative Affliction 8, Resisted and Overcome by Will, Insidious, Subtle 2 (costs 1 pp)
* Alt Effect – Mind Control 8: Perception range, Cumulative Affliction 8, Resisted and Overcome by Will, Insidious, Subtle 2 (costs 1 pp)
* Alt Effect – Telekinesis 7: Perception range, Damaging Move Object 7, with Chokehold, Improved Hold, Improvised Weapon 1, Precise, Subtle 2, Throwing Mastery 1 extras (costs 1 pp)

I am working towards finding his voice but for some reason, posting in 1st person appealed to me

First Person Works for Me!

Seemed to make it all that much more enjoyable!

...first person seems to fit Mr Nobody! I liked it.

Considered something similar for Samael but, for whatever reason, ended up changing my mind. Still not sure that I've completely "found his voice" yet, but... first post is up and I'm working on it, I guess.
