I am currently on vacation in South Carolina. I may, or may not, be able to post this week.

There better not be..

Maggie will personally hunt down any scallywags that desert and hang them from the yardarm.

Oh, and I'm still here, of course.

There's one from the Crowe.

Fin's hoping for either a fight or a "find," here...

On one hand, he'd love the opportunity to kill Kidane, I'm sure, but I don't know that he's willing to involve the Cole sisters (or any of the rest of the Dog's crew) in his past anymore than his presence in Tortuga already has done.

On the other hand, if Raisa chooses to maybe clue him in on, at least, a potential hunt, Fin's likely to stick to his word and see to it as best he's able that the Sun Dog's off in pursuit of that plunder ASAP.

...Either way, Crowe's most certainly keeping a keen eye peeled for Kidane from this point forward.

Nice post!

I like it.

In an effort to allow you players to remain involved in combat situations, I've opened a roll20.net account. I am in the process of adding your characters to the Flesh & Blood game setup there. If you are unfamiliar with the site, it allows for shared maps, you control your token (figurine) on the map, I can layout fog of war, I can designate your vision, etc. You'll need to go sign up for a free account (you can pay for one if you want, but you don't have to). I've sent each of you a game invite using the email address you have here.

Now, the way I want this to work is for people to make their own combat rolls. Hopefully, it will work in combat rounds so we can still just move through combat scenarios, but you'll have more involvement. We'll see if it works.

Huh?

So, are you moving this game to this Roll20 website? Does that mean you won't be continuing it here?

I've looked over this Roll20 thing, and it seems like it is meant for live action play and not PBP.

It is!

However, I am hoping that their chat function will record rolls and such while we keep the actual storytelling and RP here. This is a test. I've not yet tried it to see if it will work. Though... Fin may be able to test it for us sooner rather than later.

Color me confused

I must say, I don't know what you are wanting to do with this other website? You say you want to use the chat function and the die roller, but doesn't this website have both of those?

I must admit that the Roll 20 website is very confusing looking to me.

Edit: Let me clarify; I'm not sure what you want us to do in that website?

Clarity?

I think the idea is that, especially when it comes to combat situations, Roll20 provides the ability to share maps (on which our characters' tokens/markers will appear, allowing us to get a better visual idea of our surroundings, etc... additionally, any dice rolls that might be needed can be done by the players in the "chat" function of Roll20s site/app, giving us, the players, more "direct control"... and, from what I've read, any skills, traits, ect, that might apply to rolls can be drag & dropped from character sheets to the "map" and applied instantly....

Okay... I just read that and it sounds confusing, I suppose, but, trust me, I think this might just work out to be a good thing and, in the end, will serve to possibly immerse we players into the game overall.
