Cocoa

I was rereading some of our posts and noticed the bit on Warwick's father duping him into trying unsweetened cocoa powder and couldn't help but laugh.

My mother did that to me when I was little... and I just did it to my step daughter not that long ago. Her face was so cute... stuck out her tongue and made this terrible noise.

I'm working hard for that 'Evil Step-Mother' award

It's been a while...

It's good to see you again, Glory

Oh, but a note about the logbook; I think you put your entry in the wrong place... you have to click on USS Discovery first, then go the book and add the entry, and then it'll appear among the others in the logbook *nods*

And logbook entries can't be edited, since there's no edit feature... posts can though *nods*

Replicators... non cocoa related :)

Where are replicators located...

Say if Callie wanted a cup of coffee where would she need to go to get one?

And I know... this is probably located out on one of those fantabulous links that have been provided for us but I'm feeling lazy and instead of searching for the information I figured I'd just rely on one of you trekkies to have the answer off the top of your head.

Replicators

There's replicators all over the place. Crew quarters all have one, and there will be some in Ten Forward (if that's where the bar/mess hall is on the Discovery). There may be others distributed around the ship, in common work areas for example, but I am unsure about that.

My apologies...

I've been at it on and off ever since I lost the original one... it's done now, despite it not being as good as the first one... ^^;

log entries, replicators, etc

Yep, the Warwick.cocoa post was good stuff!

Night Monkey is dead on - replicators are located in all quarters, and in ten forward. You want a cup of tea, just walk up to it and order. "Tea, Earl Grey."

*I* can edit log entries, so please PM me any edits you may have. I have to go into the db to do it, so you may see me finally make up an edit page.

Slotting in is hard to do:(

Hello, everyone! I'm your newly drafted replacement Security Chief, and just let me say, I'm stoked to be joining your game in progress!

No, wait, stoked wasn't the word. I meant... 'petrified'. That's an impressively large thread I'm going to have to trawl through to figure out who everyone is and what everyone's doing

Still, it's all fun. So I'll see you in the IC thread in a few days when I'm done getting up to speed with the rest of you

heh

Welcome to the Inn, and to our game!

No need to be petrified. For a super quick(er) way of check to see who is who, look at the roster. Click on armoury->Trek Tools. Click on the Discovery, then go to roster. All PCs are duly noted as such.

Feel free to PM me liberally for help, I'm happy to get you caught up.

We're glad to have you.

Fo' sho'!!!

No need to get all petrified, who! We're rowdy, eccentric, and sometimes smelly, but always helpful, don't ya know? Wade right on in and, if you run into something that makes ya go just shoot one or seven of us a PM, post your quandry here, or whatever... we'll come-a-runnin'!

Also, welcome aboard (The Discovery and The Inn) !!!

Tier

If you are the security chief, then you have Steward Tier under your command. An over-zealous potty mouthed ex-engineer who isn't afraid to speak his mind.

Subordinates

Also Antoinette La Rue, according to the crew roster. Plus there's probably some enlisted security personnel, even if they are only allowed to hold a phaser rifle before getting mauled by the monster of the week (or, more likely, Briggs and MacTavish)
