Also I have seen the log book on the tools section - how is it used and am I supposed to use it ?

 

The log book is a way to help keep track of everything that has happened. It's very helpful if a log entry is made for every scene.  Not every post, but each unique scene.  

 

You don't HAVE to use the logbook, but it is appreciated.

But first, the logbook - 

Viewing is simple, really; just click on the 'Logbook' item in the menu bar and it'll take you to the most recent game day's entries. Entires for previous days are accessed by clicking the link for the particualr date at the bottom of the screen.

Adding a new entry is slightly more complicated:

1. Hover over the Logbook item in the menu bar and you should see an 'Add Log Entry' pop up... click on that.
2. You should now be looking at the Log Entry screen. Start by selecting the character for whom you're making the entry (typically this is your own character or a character you NPCd in the entries corresponding post).
3. Enter or modify the Date
4. Enter the time (24 hour format and don't forget the colon between hours and minutes "hh:mm")
5. Enter the location(s) in which the post occurred
6. Write a brief summary of the events that occured in the post
7. Finally, if any other characters were featured in your post, select them in the dropdowns provided and then click on 'Submit.' You should get a message that your entry was successfully added to the Log, at that point, and a few links that will either return you to the Logbook, take you back to the Roster, or allow you to submit another entry to the Logbook.

That's pretty much it. To answer the "am I supposed to use it" question: Technically, yes. We strongly encourage you to update the logbook following a post; however, we're not going to keelhaul you if you don't do so right away. Heck, sometimes I get bored and skim through the game posts and logbook and input any missing entries I might find just for the heck of it, so....

Since Asovil was originally Brom's character and I admittedly didn't consult him in regard to any of this, our former CSO's personality might be a bit skewed from what some of you may remember. That said, the entirety of the dream sequence was just that, a dream... Tochi's recalling a kiss that never happened to begin with.

As far as I'm aware, in fact, Tochi and Asovil never got any more intimate than, perhaps, the touch of a hand or some such before the end of the events of Chimera. So, in a nutshell, this nightmare is a combination of Tochi longing for a kiss he never got to plant and his PTSD fueled memories of having watched her disintegrate and being powerless to stop it.

Brom - if there's anything you'd care to change, in that dream sequence, please, feel free.

Got the PM from C2P and shot back some brief starting thoughts from John's side. Also got with Marideth on John and Karri continuing their time together in Edge. It will be with Karri as NPC where last it was a collab with Astrid.

I'd almost forgotten and the John and Karri connection in EoD until Meri and I got to talking about it this morning.

It'll be interesting to see where that goes moving forward.

By the way, the email notification of have a PM is working.

In all the years I have been here this the first time I started getting PM notices....nice!

He's got a work date with Kennedy, so he better not get too worn out on the holodeck... because she's going to work on that ship even if he doesn't show up, and who knows what she'll get into if he isn't there.    

And yep, Ody's working on something with Karri coming up with a little guidance from me, I'm still trying to get my feet wet with her so this will be good for both of us!  

I'm also letting the gears work a little on some other small sub plots...
