My daughter was just notified by snail mail that she is being published in a coffe-table style book produced by Poetry.com. Apparently, she has been submitting poems for some time now, and they selected one to appear in an annual collection that they publish. Needless to say, she is pleased... twis was a nice birthday present for her (today is her 12th birthday)!
I've been a member for more than ten years. Congrats to the wee one! Hopefully they'll send you a free copy of the book (which they used to do if you were published) but recently it seems they still want proud relatives to pay for them )

well
I submitted a poem to Poetry.com, and they selected me, i have the certificate or whatever, they liked it so much that I got several messages from them, they wanted to get me to buy the book it would be published in, and I could get it framed if I wanted, and all sorts of things.
and CONGRATS! I had two published and had to buy the anthology they were published in. Of course it was a discounted rate...still I kinda felt like I had paid them to publish me. BUT...at least I can say I have some published poetry
