Well it would certainly solve her dilemma (and I guess mine too) as to whether she should stay in the shadows or try to tag behind them. He taunts her she'll follow, like a rabbid dog

I'll hang back on posting anything for Nyx until Sylla and/or Mallys are posted for. Wouldn't be right for a body-slave to take the lead from his Mistress amongst all these round-ears, eh?

I've got a post in the works, which will (obviously) change depending on what Gigi and Spiders post; will post following them.

I've got one on the burner, myself, following up on the last bout of posts from our loverly ladies... Almost there and look to have it posted in the next hour or so... as long as the phones stay relatively quiet, anyway.

... at least until (if?) we get up the steps and to floor 2.

Nice post though Spiders, I like Mally's more and more as I get to know her.
It's interesting:
She hates Nyx, is genuinely intrigued by Mally's, and is more or less apathetic toward Sylla. Such a fun little group they are.

How can anyone hate Nyx? He's so soft and cuddly and... well... uh...

Apathy? That is pretty much her emotional spectrum, approval of existance, apathy, dislike, hatred. I think she is incapable of love. Lust perhaps, but not love, she's your typical sociopath.
I guess there are those that she doesn't necessarily unlike, like Ovelia. She accepts their existance in her world because they have yet to directly offend her and can sometimes be beneficial... but... that's probably about as far as it goes.


btw... I love all the little evil smilies we get to use on this thread!

I reckon, if I were in Cay's shoes, I'd hate him, too.

Not that Nyx would care one way or the other, of course, which I guess makes him fairly apathetic, too... "Love me, hate me, be indifferent, it matters not. When Prien calls for your thread to be severed, precious, I'll be the one to answer that call... and your feelings, one way or the other, will have no bearing."

I've really got to put the finishing touches on Nyx's 'backstory'... Quite a bit of insight into what 'drives him' in that bit of storytelling.

What drives Nyx would be very interesting indeed. And possibly frightening
