Roy glanced feverishly out the window. He cursed them for not having arrived yet. The Turquoise Sea was gleaming under sunlight below him, but this was not a happy day. The room was cold and dank, and although it was bright with torch light and lavish furnishings, Roy felt it was empty. He pulled his sword from its sheath and admired it yet again. The radient gold handle, the image of two Dragons twining around each other, was breathtaking enough, but the shimmering jewels encrusted within made the dragons glint with a hint of magic. The door rustled, and Roy's head shot toward it. When the heavy oak was moved aside, Roy saw not his friends from Drlva, but a messanger from the castle. He moved toward him. The man looked at ground, then looked back at Roy, seemingly apologizing for something. He wispered it into Roys ear.

The news was such a shock, he almost collapsed. Roy made he descision. He quickly scrawled a note onto a piece of nearby parchment and wrote:

"Do not open until all of you arrive!"

In bold letters on the front of the folded paper. Then he marched out of the room as quickly as he could, he could wait for them no longer, not when she was in trouble.
